I'm not complaining about individual decisions as they tend to balance out. But there seems to be confusion over what is and isn't handball. It should be simple. If your hands are in front of your face or torso as JWP's were then the ball would have hit you anyway so no handball. If hands are above your head or spread wide as in the Norwich guys case you make yourself a bigger blocking target. Should be handball even if from close range. Interesting comparison with the ManUtd "kids" is that whilst they were developing they had the same first team manager throughout their career. Ours have had 3 or more in their time yet all have kept them on, suggesting all our managers have recognised their future potential, and/or the committee style leadership throughout all levels at the club is paying off.

In answer to the original post - NO! We are building a strength in depth SQUAD, not a first choice nest XI plus back up, and we've already shown we don't need to sell to buy if we do want to strengthen it further. He's flexible and can immediately slot in as and when required either off the bench or starting a game. I'd like to think that no player is sure enough of his position to be considered guaranteed first choice, that's when complacency set's in. Cork is just the sort of player to keep anyone picked ahead of them on their toes.

And it's certainly the quickest and most comprehensive way of keeping up on match days (apart from turning up at the stadium).

Afraid it's already gone past that stage for me as well. Premier League football is now something I have accepted carries on without me. I'm still just as interested in results and how we played etc, but as far as attending games go it'll be one or two a season as a treat. Contrast with Hampshire's T20 games, all of which I attended this season (for the first time) at a cost of between £12.50 and £20 a game. Affordable, all but one were very entertaining with tense exciting finishes, and I've already decided I'm going again next year.

Much as I agree with his sentiments, there's probably hardly a country in the world where one or more other countries couldn't find some reason to object to. In any case I always thought that the Olympics were awarded to a city not a country, and for the duration of the games the sites the games take place in are considered a separate entity and outside the jurisdiction of where they take place. Provided those sites are operated to Olympic principles and LGBT participants and spectators are treated equally and have free access at the games themselves I don't see what goes on in the rest of the country is relevant.
