Totally agree I was quite shocked when I started reading this thread... full of negativity from people who didn't go. It was actually a great morning. I was surprised how many people went tbh. Really good turn out. Players were excellent with the kids and young fans at the end. They all took a long time signing autographs, posing for photos and chatting. Really good to see. If people want to slag this sort of thing off they should go first and then judge what they see

To be honest we looked a class or five above Swindon when we wanted to - the rest of the time we just coasted Nice to go to Swindon and see us play reasonably well - the last two games we had there in the last two years rank amongst our most dire performances in ages - I felt cleansed tonight Lee Holmes did indeed look quality at times - please stay fit - do a Connolly ffs!

That was the point I was trying to make above..... some posters seem to think that selling a really good player and replacing him with two or three less expensive (but generally much less good) ones is the answer to our problems. It never has been before - so why should it now??? If we don't have to sell, don't sell Build a team around some key young talented players with some solid experienced players around them ..... and return to the Promised Land of the Premiership Simples

Times have changed. We dont need the money and don't have to sell. There is no dilemma When will some people grasp the reality of the new world Saints are now in ?
