He's done well in the short time he's been managing but Im surprised so many biggish clubs are prepared to take a risk on a 33 year old with only two years experience at one club.
-
If that is accurate, I'd be very happy. If the club can fund itself out of Lg1 through good attendances it says to the Liebherr family that we are a good club with real potential and more worthy of the serious financial support for three years or so we'd need to get into the prem and stay there.

Pompey have won more trophies, but Saints are the better supported club with the prouder, less tarnished history and brighter future.
-
Just a hunch, but as he's 24, no.
-
so you voted 'no' in a poll on renaming a stand after him?
-
I think we paid £250k for him, and after his performances at Millwall hes got to be worth more - around £400K imo .

Its great to have a strip which is instantly identifiable as Saints. The stripes are too generic.

Anyone on here do bathroom wall and floor tiles?

Depends where you are -
I bought a Peugeot 406 saloon very cheap a few years ago knowing it had an electrical problem and also knowing what the solution was. The saloons used to be made with a hard rubber gasket around the tail lights, which leaked and water tracked down to the electrical connections in the front floorwells and shorted / corroded them. This problem was cured when they switched to a foam rubber gasket. It isnt something the OP needs to worry about now, unless he were to buy a much older car than he would get for £2,500-£3,500.

Basically most people just want to see us win more than we lose imo. If its a choice of being the whipping boys of the prem or great games in the NPC, I'd rather stay in the championship. But yes of course, if we could get a team to compete in the top 10 of the prem, I'd love it.

Seeing one of our players in the stripes kit looks really odd now, and dated. Ive really got used to slash and would like to keep it.

Peugeot-Citroen have great diesels and low second hand prices because they don't have the supposed guarantee of quality any German car, which is invariably nonsense. If you want a biggish car the Citroen C5 or Peugeot 407 are very good. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201044372371885/sort/priceasc/usedcars/maximum-age/up_to_7_years_old/fuel-type/diesel/maximum-mileage/up_to_80000_miles/price-to/4000/model/c5/make/citroen/page/1/radius/1500/postcode/so166ht?logcode=p

Do you mean a CQ61, like this? http://h20195.www2.hp.com/V2/GetPDF.aspx/c01947481.pdf

This is the most traditionally French place I know. Edith Piaf songs, accordions and old time music acts. Small intimate and fascinating if you want something authentic and can speak a bit of French. http://www.au-lapin-agile.com/

Saints are top on all recent form, whether 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 or 16 games.
-
Nope. No answer at all despite addressing to four admins /mods and a follow up.
-
I asked the admin earlier this season for a poll on the best way to commemorate ML and never even got the decency of a reply. We should have a poll on what fans feel is the best way, and then send it to NC.
-
The principle is fair imo, but if its only one ticket per season ticket holder and one per Carlisle ticket - does it mean that if Carlise doesnt sell out then the Man U game wont either - or am I being thick?
-
Maybe if we all sit together we can send NC a message. Either that or nominate one of us to get the half time pies.
-
Maybe Wenger has a holiday home in Oldham

C'mon GM. You arent a hospitality virgin. Yes maybe on the day the club got the seating wrong, I dont know. However the 1885 club is advertised as an informal family function where kids go free. The website even has lots of pics of kids at the event. If you want a more civilised sit down place, avoid the 1885 club, just as I'm sure you dont go to a Pizza Express or Harvester at 6pm on a Saturday.

[quote=latter day saint;932370this caught my eye as well http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/walloffame/ anyone got spare £50 to immortalize a message to our fishy neighbours We should have a whip round for a Saintsweb plaque just saying R.I.P

But why not go to a different suite? Different groups / ages / types of fans will always want different things.

imo the reason for the lack of vocal support is pretty simple. Younger fans tend to get more excited and be more vocal than older ones, and Saints havent recruited many younger fans over the past few years because we've been, well, how to put it...a bit a ****. Now weve started to turn the corner I reckon the problem will resolve itself in time.
