Would you really want to sign the kinds of players who are happy to play for us on the basis that they might get a game if someone happens to get injured - ie little ambition or drive happy just to draw a wage aka Pulis? Donations from companies or unions is a system which smells bad whether it actually leads to favours or not. No organisation should be able to fund a political party imo. Political parties should be membership led with part state top up funding based on number of members and votes at last election.

To put it into context thats the price of buying St Mary's, Staplewood, the entire squad including £10m AOC, Jeffries Farm and a foxy girl in reception. Plus £3m to blow on a frippary.
