I dont think they have. As far as I understand any club has 7 days to appeal against a points deduction and that the appeal has to be heard within 21 days. As we apparently didnt appeal within the 7 days, we have only ourselves to blame - although its understandable given the lack of board and direction following admin.

Thats exactly it IMO. The FL are trying to avoid being bounced into accepting a deal which forces them to effectively concede that the points deduction should not apply. I can happily wait a few more days if it means a realistic chance of avoiding the -10.

Think you're missing the point. Keegan brings glamour and interest, and theres precious little of that in Lg1. If he attracts fans and good players because of who he is - thats all good.

Even if he brings nothing else, its fantastic to be the main story on Sky Sports ahead of Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid!

It would concern me in the Prem and possibly the CCC, but I think he could do well with a motivated group of players in Lg1 - few of the other realistic options inspire me.
