I like the idea of segmented shirts, joined with velcro. When pulled like Smalling was doing, then that segment would come away in his hand, let him defend that to the ref.

James Ward-Prowse's list of indisputable, unimprovable weaknesses

Steve Davis has played 123 league games, and only scored 6, and he is played in a more attacking role than JWP, some on here expect miracles from a 20 year old. -
Two by JWP....get in

That will shut a few on here up.

Not a question as to if he is good enough for us, it's more, is he good enough for the players, many think they are young Gods, and should be treated accordingly. I think they would not have a great deal of respect for Rowett, however good a coach he is.

My neighbours always having a dig at my weight. He just said "eh lad how come your such a fat bastard?". I said "Because every time i **** your wife, she gives me a chocolate biscuit." That shut him up.

No good keep blaming the club, Koeman has had money, and spent it. Some of the signings under his watch have been less than impressive, but under no circumstances, should we be looking to spend beyond our means, the fish fiddlers down the road, will attest to that folly! I like Koeman, both as a player and as a person, but he needs to be tougher in his handling of the team imho, too much player power.

I'm going to be a little different here, why not 4-4-2 set up like this. Bothe the left and right sides can cover each other, and attack as well. Stekelenburg Martina Fonte VVD Target Cedric Romeu Clasie Bertrand Juanmi Mane

A lot of sideways, backward passing going on!

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 4-0 Arsenal

Just re-watched it, and will again. At the end, did Wenger ignore Koeman when he went to shake the Frenchman's hand, anyone there see this? -

What a great game for Saints. Like many, seeing the lineup, I feared the worst. However, Long gave us something Pele never gives us, workrate, he hassled their CB's all game, and closed down the keeper. He actually ran for lost causes, non of which Pele does, given the choice, I would play Long every game. -
1-3-4-2-1 with Juanmi and Mane as the two behind Pele, Sores and Bertrand as the wingbacks, with Romeu and Classie as the holding two, three CB's and GK.....sorted.

Surely, Kane was interfering with play there, he was in an offside position, stood in front of the keeper.

For Chelsea as well 2-0 up

You really are a bore. When Southampton had two ladies teams, Red Star, and Southampton ladys, the rivalry between them and the Portsmouth lasses, was quite real, and they kicked lumps out of each other on the field. I was the manager of Southampton ladies for a while, and some of the skill sets, was very good, two of the girls had played for England. There is a place for woman's football, but bigots like you wouldn't see it.

James Ward-Prowse for England? ...say that again ...
Gingeletiss replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
Well, you clearly have an agenda against the lad, and lad he is, 20 ffs. You need to get a life, and get off his back, there are more important things in life, that you hateful obsession with him. -
We!!....I think he's a good player, but hey ho, let's carry on slagging our young players off, let's not give them a chance to mature, all the rest of those out there were brilliant at the age of 19.....I think not!
-
He's a f**king nipper for f**ks sake, I bet you were f**king fantastic at 19, or not! You and the others who attack our players on here, are a f**king disgrace, you're not fans in any sense of the word, sod of and support someone else

Victor seems totally disinterested, walking back, very slow into the tackle, very poor imo.
