It's actually: fine-toothed comb.
i.e. the hyphen is between the 'fine' and 'toothed'.
Note: fine-tooth comb (without the 'ed' suffix on 'tooth') is a synonym of 'fine-toothed comb'.
Given Southampton Football Club isn't (yet) in administration, surely the SFC board (Jones and Tointon) could have ring-fenced the money as they saw fit?
Depends if they agree to Fry's 'request' to accept a period of goodwill, I suppose.
What happens if just one employee refuses to work for goodwill for the next 7 days? Administration of SFC at that point in time? (technically?)
Where's Nineteen Canteen? I'd have thought he'd be on here blaming those who 'boycotted' Saints Aid by now.....
A full house at the weekend and they'd have been enough to pay the (non-player) staff wages this week, I'd venture...
It's not a mock up....just a screen print from BBC News....I suspect (hope!) the geezer (or lady) who type out the banners had a spot of finger and/or brain trouble. Tony Husband (the reporter) didn't say anything about further relegation.
