  1. Fair point. But it should be recognised that every sporting institution has 'core' followers and 'peripheral' followers and if these institutions are being run properly their budgets should take into account this natural attendee type split. I'm sure we all go to other sporting events outside of SFC on a 'drop in' basis. I've only been to watch Hampshire play cricket on a few occasions, for example, but how does that somehow make me a bad person in the eyes of a Hampshire CCC member? Let's get real folks. Actually, no, let's not. It's far more entertaining in cloud-cuckoo-land
  2. Alas, no. Although I am expecting a delivery on Monday morning. Potentially.
  3. Indeed. I believe this is covered in Diagram B
  4. I'm happy to give clues if anyone is stuck on the answers
  5. The Market Porter everytime for me....
  6. He supports Southampton so debatable....
  7. But that was an artificially high price forced up by non-existent billionaire interest in the club (from what I understand, reading between the lines and all that)
  8. How many Saints supporters have already switched from Barclays moved the goalposts on the club's debt? Not many I would venture. Apathy rules OK.
  9. As Lloyd Grossman would say...."the clues are there.... ";)
  10. There are two 'Mr Frys'.....the one who works for Barclays and looked after SLH's accounts, and the other who works for Begbies Traynor. And, by the way, WH Ireland were recommending Begbies Traynor in their end of year report
  11. 65p if memory serves me correctly. I still don't understand how a certain short-sleeved chap 'got away with' inflating the share price this time two years ago.
  12. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/markets/article.html?in_article_id=486109 "The directors included Richard Ford, the chief executive; former Southampton FC boss Rupert Lowe, the chairman; Nigel Gurney, finance director; and City spin doctor Roland Rudd. Not exactly aces in running a stockbroking business".
  13. Out of interest, anyone know how many investor doors Begbies have knocked on as opposed to sitting back and waiting for people to knock on theirs? Is it the Administrators job to simply deal with incoming inquiries or do they actively go out seeking investment? I can only see 'evidence' of the former and not the latter. (Which of course isn't to say that the latter isn't happening too)
  14. So the worse an Administrator is at his job the more he has to squeeze out of the deal to cover his growing costs/bonus? Great. This Administration malarkey makes the world's banking systems look like a shining beacon of morality. Is the Administration industry independently regulated?
  15. Will it be back for good or will we just get a snatch?
  16. Ah, ignore me then No, please, ignore me...I insist...
  17. Hmmm...anyone else thinking what I'm thinking....? Could be a shrewd move by the club to raise the profile of a revenue stream that is separate to the Football Club subsidiary....? (apologies, not the point of the thread I know but got me thinking laterally....just for once...!)
  18. Just had a thought.....is 'Saints Events Management' a division of 'Southampton Football Club Ltd' or a subsidiary company of 'Southampton Leisure Holdings plc' ...?
