Fair point. But it should be recognised that every sporting institution has 'core' followers and 'peripheral' followers and if these institutions are being run properly their budgets should take into account this natural attendee type split. I'm sure we all go to other sporting events outside of SFC on a 'drop in' basis. I've only been to watch Hampshire play cricket on a few occasions, for example, but how does that somehow make me a bad person in the eyes of a Hampshire CCC member? Let's get real folks. Out of interest, anyone know how many investor doors Begbies have knocked on as opposed to sitting back and waiting for people to knock on theirs? Is it the Administrators job to simply deal with incoming inquiries or do they actively go out seeking investment? I can only see 'evidence' of the former and not the latter. (Which of course isn't to say that the latter isn't happening too)

So the worse an Administrator is at his job the more he has to squeeze out of the deal to cover his growing costs/bonus? Great. This Administration malarkey makes the world's banking systems look like a shining beacon of morality. Is the Administration industry independently regulated?

Just had a thought.....is 'Saints Events Management' a division of 'Southampton Football Club Ltd' or a subsidiary company of 'Southampton Leisure Holdings plc' ...?
