Can Pinnacle be gazzumped if one of the other bidders comes back with a much bigger offer on Monday (say) or is it now only Pinnacle's to throw away if they decide they don't want it at some point during the 'exclusivity' phase?

Agree. It is somewhat telling that the accusations of people "wanting" the club to go into administration are never accompanied by the names of the accusees.

Begbies Traynor were actually appointed by the SLH board (according to the wording of the LSE announcment), but I appreciate the underlying point/sentiment.

Who regulates the Administrator to ensure they are being efficient and not dragging thinngs out to their own advantage? (I am, of course, not suggesting for one minute that Begbies Traynor are anything but doing things by the book. I'm just interested in principle)
