  1. And he can't locate Torquay Saint's mate who is still looking for his scanner in his loft? If someone has a programme then scan it in and post it. FFS....
  2. I'm still surprised that people feel they can answer the question posed categorically without knowing what the alternative(s) may or may not be. If the question was: cortese has lined up Kevin Keegan, do you want Pardew to stay? My answer would be "no" If the question was: cortese has lined up an average run of the mill manager , do you want Pardew to stay? My answer would be "yes" Ask yourself the same two questions (replacing "kevin keegan" with a manager of your choice whom you believe would be a better option than Pardew) and see if you get the same answer.
  3. Cheers for the thoughts Weston. One 'unknown' you missed (I think) is the mystery late withdrawal of the matchday programme. Any insight on that?
  4. So, in other words, a quick footnote on the OS match report saying that Markus was stranded in Geneva (or wherever) would have saved a whole lot of speculation?

Let's have a coalition between Pardew, Hughes and Keegan. It's what the country would want in this brave new age...
  6. Will there be a press conference at 2pm on Friday for old time's sake?
  7. Kevin Keegan was seen driving into the car park at 1 o'clock
  8. Most businesses that set a 'x year plan' would hope to see the plan realised sooner. It's simply a 'worst case' target. Most successful business men try to beat any targets set, not just match them...
  9. This is what I've been slightly amused about this season. Everyone sees the happy / cuddly mr liebherr on match days and with that brief visual information comes the automatic assumption that he's a fluffy bunny rabbit. How do we KNOW that he isn't a wolf in sheep's clothing? Answer: we don't
  10. I would be happy if he stays but to be able to answer the question posed I would need to know who has been lined up to replace him (if indeed thst was the case)
  11. Cameron got more votes than Blair in 2005. Says it all really
  12. Would be a smart move by csmereon to give chancellor job to cabel but very unlikely I'd have thought
  13. Exactly the question I posed yesterday. Like yourself, I don't understand how they could do that
  14. Mrs Trousers is a parent governer at a local primary school and while I can concur that the school is well run I know that there is a lot of central government orientated waste and red tape when it comes to the financal side of things.
  15. Clegg was true to his word even though it ean't in his interests to do so. For that I applaud him.
  16. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/election_2010/default.stm End of the road for Brown? Or won't Cameron play ball?
  17. Who did you vote for out of curiosity?
  18. Gosh
  19. Wasn't she British Telecom?
  20. It's clear that Cameron should side with the SNP and push through Scottish independance. To have such a large majority in England yet having no mandate to rule has sadly changed my mind on maintaining the Union.
