It's won't be "fair" to compare Wotte and Pearson purely on match statistics at the end of the season as Wotte had the 'advantage' of being within the club for 9 months whereas Pearson came in cold.

Went to the game last night....and, woe is me, what a difference in terms of passion and 'esprit de corps' from the Cardiff game. It's a long time since I've been to 'back-to-back' games and the difference was scary. That said, I think Derby came with a plan to snuff us out and succeeded. They commanded midfield (thanks to one Mr Savage). Our centre backs were our best players along with Gillett. Frustrating to say the least.

Hasn't spending gone up in some parts of the business though...i.e. playing Saga and Skacel week in, week out?
