Why is it seemingly beyond the bounds of possibility that the FA can't come up with an interim update along the lines of: "The investigation into the conduct of Southampton FC staff formally began on <insert date>. The investigatory panel, consisting of <insert names>, are targeting <insert date> to conclude their investigations. Instead... Nothing... Not a sausage... Whilst the EFL investigation was a bumbling circus, at least they were relatively transparent with what was occurring and when...
