Decent write-up Wes, although just to correct you on one point... VAR didn't "rescue us" for their disallowed goal in the first half. The goal wouldn't have stood regardless of VAR, because the lino got it right. VAR would only have "rescued us" if the lino hadn't flagged and then VAR overruled his incorrect decision.
