  1. @SouthamptonFC Ralph Hasenhüttl says that defender @JVestergaard7 is a doubt for this weekend's #PL meeting with #NUFC. #saintsfc
  2. 12 .

  4. Jimmy
  5. Yep, apologies, they've updated it now...
  6. Is that the 4th or 5th time we've seen him return to training since his op...?
  7. Especially the bookmakers at 500-1...
  8. Depending on what you mean by "strong enough" then Goa may well be correct coming to that conclusion... Under Hassenhuttl, we are currently 'strong enough' for 7th or 8th. Yes, I know that clubs have to improve the squad to even stand still these days, but the bottom line is that we're not a million miles away from being 'strong enough' to reach the premier league glass ceiling as things stand. (That doesn't mean that I don't want us to improve the quality of the squad during the transfer window btw)
  9. Red seems harsh to me. Wouldn't be surprised if it was downgraded to a yellow on appeal https://twitter.com/Futbol_Replays/status/1117869621082648576?s=19
  10. Bit of a catch 22 perhaps? The more game time he gets (i.e. in the starting 11) the quicker he is likely to develop said composure?
  11. Apologies.... I expect this has been asked numerous times before but this is my first ever trip to St James Park and I'm far too lazy to search for the info...! (playing my 'honesty is the best policy' card there ).... Q: Best pubs for away fans...? Cheers
  12. Yep, agree with that. Maybe I didn't make my myelf clear. I'm wondering how strict the powers-that-be will be when it comes to the chronology of events during the window. In other words, will they say to Hassenhuttl: "You can't buy players A, B and C until we've sold players X, Y and Z" ...or... Will they say: "Go ahead and buy players A, B and C as early as possible in the window so they get a full pre-season with us. Don't worry about selling players X, Y and Z first, we'll do all we can to ensure they've left before the start of the season"
  13. Are the owners making this a pre-requisite of signing any new players? If so, a potentially frustrating window looms* * © Alpine Window Woes
  14. It's a fair point that we needed a club to go into freefall to increase our chances if survival, but we still needed to get more points than we likely would have done had we stuck with Pellegrino. I'm convinced that we got more points under Hughes than we would have done under Pellegrino, ergo Hughes contributed to us staying up. In other words, I think we would have gone down under Pellegrino, despite Swansea's capitulation
  15. 1-3 Never any doubt...
  16. Palace 0-2 Man City 3 points behind Palace with a game in hand #lookingup
  17. Still this. (Not sure why I didn't name-check Hojbjerg though - he's in the mix too of course)
  18. Crazy stat. Our 'standing still' target position for next season (based on form under RH) is 7th. With some shrewd player acquisitions...? Who knows....
  19. I'm not into calling people "dinlos" but, yep, quite a few on here who couldn't grasp the concept that a good player can 'fail' when loaned to the 'wrong' club.
  20. Once he becomes more composed in front of goal (which I'm sure will come with more game time) he's going to turn into a key player for us next season (IMO).
  21. Cheers for the new players insight Manji. Does "lined up" mean that deals have been agreed between players and clubs and it's just a case of rubber stamping them when the summer window opens, or is it more of an agreed wish list? Cheers
  22. Accurate live table... Edit: that's crap too.... Burnley score is wrong. Gotta love modern technology FFS
