  1. He has admitted he knows one of the guilty, so he isn't exactly impartial.
  2. I'm not in jail for events on 13th February 2010. Why is that? After the final whistle I was disappointed to lose to our rivals but I walked out of the Kingsland stand and walked home. Didn't even watch events unfold. It really wasn't hard to do.
  3. He doesn't. Pulis is 25 and has been no where near a Pardew matchday squad all season. Maybe Pulis/his agent are still in negotiations to mutually cancel the contract.
  4. Argh. I actually agree with Dune! What is happening to me?
  5. So if someone did £30,000 worth of damage to YOUR house or business you would be happy for them to get a community service punishment? Yay! Yet more Stu petty insults! So if that coin hit your child in the eye and blinded them would you be happy with the person picking up litter for two months?
  6. You ignored the £30,000 of criminal damage. Also this may have been their last chance and were told if they did anything again they'd get a custodial sentence.
  7. Why do people persist in calling him Dickinson?
  8. Fully deserved.
  9. No chance. Why would Pardew weaken the side playing someone out of position when he has the money to sign a proper right back? Harding wasn't as great at right back as everyone makes out. At very least one right back will be signed this summer (possibly two).
  10. Sky giving Pompey some more money... http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Stevenage-Tie-Live-On-Sky-1041.aspx First chance for us to see the new look Pompey side.
  11. That was in 1949 when the country had national service and Portsmouth's population increased significantly above its normal level with young men in the navy with nothing much else to do on shore leave on Saturday afternoons. Not the case today. (Also may have played a significant role in the two title wins in that period)
  12. Yet more petty insults! btw the difference is more like £2.7m (£3m for the Championship and £300k for League One), also sponsorship is far higher in the Championship.
  13. I don't know why you have plucked 10 reasons out of the air. Not every reason has equal weighting. The link I posted previously shows the club are extending hours to sell season tickets on the last three days of the month. If they didn't want to sell season tickets the office hours wouldn't be extended. You didn't answer question 2) - Instead you say "Come on, let's stay on subject". Which is exactly what YOU don't do when you use petty insults in replies to people i this and other threads.
  14. 1) Explain why they are doing this...? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2074098,00.html 2) Explain why whenever someone has a difference of opinion with you on this forum you use petty insults or fling around accusations?
  15. How can anyone have a "serious debate" with someone like you, that replies to any point you disagree with using a petty insult or accusation?
  16. Maybe the club has done some research and realised the cost of printing and posting 13,000 letters isn't worth it when people will make the decision on their own. Someone that spends £400 on a season ticket and take 3+ hours out of their lifes on 23 days of the year clearly thinks about the club alot and it is a significant part of their life. They don't need a letter to sell it to them or remind them.
  17. Printing and posting out 13,000 reminders would cost a huge amount. Especially when it wouldn't make a jot of difference to 99.9% of those it is sent to. Waste of money. They will decide themselves past on their experiences from last season (and previous seasons), their own financial position and other factors. The club have clearly decided they'd lose more money sending out 13,000 reminders then they would gain from it changing minds. It is a business decision based on information on ticket numbers you and I aren't privy to.
  18. Yet again more petty insults. Can you really not talk to someone without insulting them? You ignored this... Explain to me why the club would deliberately be trying to lose season ticket holders?
  19. Are you not doing the exact thing you accuse me off? You sound like a broken record and resort to petty insults. You still have failed to respond to my point that everyone in this country has access to the internet if they want. Especially those lucky enough to afford to goto 23 football games a year!
  20. Can you name a season ticket holder that doesn't have access to the internet or a phone? I'd say that every existing season ticket holder has Saints as quite a high priority in their life already! Spending £400 a year is quite an investment. As is taking 3+ hours out of you life on 23 days over the course of a season. They aren't going to make such decisions over to renewal or not on a whim.
  21. At least I can construct an argument without resorting to petty insults. I may be wrong in my view but at least I keep it civil. When someone starts flinging about insults it is normally due to their argument having little substance. Are you telling me the other 30% don't have access at work/uni/college/school/internet cafes/libraries?
  22. I think the experience of going to 23 home games the previous season helps people make up their mind if they want to spend £400 again for a season ticket, more than a leaflet will. If you are willing to spend hundreds on a season ticket you are already more than just a fan with a passing interest in the club and a leaflet will make no difference. I'm not the one that claim season ticket holders don't have access to the internet, which is clearly rubbish. Yet you haven't retracted that statement. Everyone in the country has access at home/work/uni/college/school/internet cafe/free library internet computers.
  23. I seriously doubt any season ticket holder at St Mary's doesn't have access to the internet from at least one of home/work/uni/college/school/internet cafe/free library internet computers I seriously doubt any season ticket holder doesn't have access to the ticket office number and doesn't have access to at least one of a landline/mobile/public phonebox Every season ticket holder knows season tickets go on sale in the summer. There really is no excuse.
  24. It isn't the 15th July yet...
