Anyone else noticed (or got annoyed by ) Saint's tendency in recent games to use a "Rugby" style kick offs? By this I mean two players in the centre circle pass to each other then a "hoof" to the opposition's full back position where Lambert and one other player has made a run to challenge for a header. Normally this either ends in the hoof going straight out of play or the opposition get the ball. I wish they would stop doing this and just retain the ball and build an attack.

Draw at Norwich and Win at Wycombe = good 4 points

Indeed... 38 points + 10 from points deduction + 9 from games in hand if all won = 57 points compared to 4th place Charlton's 60 points or 38 points + 10 points from points deduction + 6 points from games in hand if all won = 54 points compared to 6th place Huddersfield's 57 points Plus Saints still have to play Charlton and Huddersfield at St Mary's. -
Yep 16 games left. 10 of which are on the bowling green pitch of St Mary's. Every cloud...

9 points over 38 games is actually a slightly harsher punishment than 10 over 46 games. Both punishments mean you can only get 92% of the max points possible. 9 points is slightly less by a fraction of a percentage 92.2% compared to 92.75% for -10 points.

I wouldn't blame them

It isn't. It will cut up a lot. Doesn't help that Wycombe played on it on Saturday and then Wasps played on it the next day. 30 Rugby players and 22 Footballers won't have done it any good. Certainly not like the St Mary's bowling green.

A lot of his games for MK Dons this season have been from a central position.

Well he is lying to you then.

Injured against Norwich. Hence why he came off and Saints finished the game against Norwich exactly how they are starting tonight with Puncheon in the middle.
-
ffs the Pompey game was a sell out. Will you ever stop?

On reflection it could have happened with a lot of online tickets rather than just phone sales.
-
Why fingers crossed? If they go into administration they will have 7 points and relegation will happen, loan players or not.

6,000 sold in 5 hours. Unlikely I think! One or both of you are wrong.
-
Hardly got away with it. They are screwed financially for years. No CVA will also mean a points deduction in the Championship.
-
You have tickets and only just looked at a map to see where the game is 4 hours before kick off!
-
That is awesome. You should email Mr Cortese Not sure if anything could be done to the Itchen Stand though. Also there doesn't seem to be much supporting the extra seats in the two stands.

If P*mpey get wound-up on Friday :Poll:

If there is no club it matters little what happens to the land. I doubt they'd leave it derelict for years just out of principle. -
It hasn't been split down the middle as this shows...
-
I'm not sure if they can even go into admin atm but if they did they would be unlikely to get a CVA unless they pay the taxman back in full, so will get a points deduction next season.
-
The stadium is also next to a river. The pitch would flood if it went below the water table.
-
Why after 3 or 4 years? Every season the club was in the Premiership at St Mary's(including relegation season) the average was over 30k. As soon as the club gains promotion to the Premiership the first season back will also see gates averaging over 30k. 32k simply isn't big enough.

Because to receive a UEFA rating the pitch has to be a certain distance from the stands.
