Were you not alive in the 1980's? No red and white stripes between 1980 and 1989(Saints most successful decade). Anyway this red sash kit is for ONE YEAR 2010/11 season. So why does it matter? Back to stripes in 2011. That badge has only existed for 36 years out of 125 years. So hardly traditional. It was designed by a fan in a competition the club ran in 1974 and it shows in its style and cartoony look.
