  1. Permission from?
  2. I think Jacob is just lying, hoping this will delay the winding up order as it did for Notts County. I doubt the courts/taxman will fall for it.
  3. Notts County only got an extension because they showed the court they had investment lined up. If Pompey can't do this then the High Court/Taxman won't want to delay the inevitable if they know that in 28, 42 or 1000 days time it still won't be paid.
  4. Exactly. The already wound up King's Lynn earlier this year. Premiership or non league makes no difference to the Courts or Taxman.
  5. I think there is a high chance there won't be. Notts County were only given extra time because they showed they had a potential buyer lined up. Pompey haven't got this. Plus they have defaulted in the past and their debts dwarf Notts County £300k taxman bill.
  6. It is irrelevant if they are in the Premiership or not. This is not a sporting decision, we are dealing with the High Court and Taxman here. They wouldn't give a ****.
  7. Actually if the game doesn't go ahead I may keep my ticket as a collectors item and have it framed as the "game that never happened".
  8. I think Mr Cortese would appease the 30k fans by giving everyone with a ticket a refund.
  9. This is a non story!!! It is not written off or even helping Pompey really. 1) If the game goes ahead then it can be deducted from the gate receipts Saints would have to pay Pompey. 2) If the game doesn't go ahead then it doesn't matter as no-one would have a ticket as would all have to be refunded anyway.

  11. The article is littered with errors, for example... Top quality journalism.
  12. 180 minutes away from Wembley in the FA Cup
  13. He played very well in the centre against Saints. Which is where he has played a lot for MK Dons. Why does it matter if they lost the game? How is that at all relevant to where Puncheon should play?
  14. Why swap them? Puncheon played very well against Saints playing in the centre.
  15. Because Mills has done little wrong. He did have a poor first half against Stockport but was better in the second half.
  16. Team is.... Davis Otsemobor Fonte Seaborne Mills James Schneiderlin Puncheon Waigo Lallana Lambert
  17. Yes
  18. Did you not watch the JPT game against MK Dons this season? Puncheon played in the centre of midfield.
  19. Easy Q.P.R.
  20. He played in the centre against Saints in the 1st leg of the JPT final.
  21. Pompey are playing 3 times in the week as well. Anyway...if a professional can't run around on a Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday then they should retire! ffs it is nearly 4 days between MK Dons and the Pompey game!
  22. But it wasn't like that in 1885. Don't do half the job! It either should be 100% like 1885 or not bother. 1) White shirt with red sash. 2) White shorts 3) All red socks Like this... http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Southampton/images/southampton_1885-1889.gif
  23. Needs to be all red socks. Doesn't matter if you are keen or not! If it is to be the 1885 kit then has to be white shorts and red socks with a white shirt with red sash. Anything else would not be right as not what it was in 1885.
  24. The 1885 kit had white shorts and red socks.
  25. Were you not alive in the 1980's? No red and white stripes between 1980 and 1989(Saints most successful decade). Anyway this red sash kit is for ONE YEAR 2010/11 season. So why does it matter? Back to stripes in 2011. That badge has only existed for 36 years out of 125 years. So hardly traditional. It was designed by a fan in a competition the club ran in 1974 and it shows in its style and cartoony look.
