  1. Yep, and Blatter is a man that sticks to his guns.
  2. Plantini has nothing to do with FIFA. Plantini is president of UEFA, a completely different organisation.
  3. You don't seem to realise it has nothing to do with the EPL. Transfer windows are a FIFA policy.
  4. Because they can't legally do it with a WUO hanging over them.
  5. There is a 15,000 post thread about it already. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=14620
  6. There has been a window for many decades. Just in 1997 deadline day was the 3rd Thursday in March and no transfers allowed until June 1st.
  7. Seems there is already a precedent...
  8. Seems there is already a precedent...
  9. No-one at Pompey bar the directors would have access to such information. Those directors would also have likely signed NDA's so this is likely to be ********, sorry.
  10. For Saints to be in danger of relegation it would take a HUGE downturn in form. Yes, atm form isn't great but would have to get a lot worse and would include losing a lot of games home and away. You really shouldn't be concerned at all about relegation. I predict at worst Saints will come 8th this season and at best 5th if they have a great 18 games.
  11. Even if the PL allow it as would help reduce the problems of 19 teams, I don't see why FIFA would agree as it sets a precedent and Pompey could have sold them in January.
  12. List the 12 games Saints will lose.
  13. Don't be stupid. Saints would need to pick up less than 16 points from the last 18 games for that to happen. Do you seriously believe Saints will lose roughly 12 of the last 18 games?
  14. Pardew won't drop Schneiderlin as he is one of Saints best players.
  15. Skate We seem to keep coming back to it!
  16. Also the player has to agree to a move. Unlikely many would choose to not play for 6 months. Particularly someone like Behadj who has the World Cup coming up.
  17. That isn't irony. Nor would they be "ringers". Look both words up in a dictionary.
  18. That isn't ironic, nor would they be ringers.
  19. Players like Pulis, Gillet, Forecast, Molyneux etc are unlikely to be here beyond the summer so pointless giving them reserve time when it would hold back the youngsters.
  20. Porter
  21. He clearly isn't any good. Was rubbish here even beyond the Palace game. Now he should be at his peak at 28 years old and is a Brentford player on loan to Wycombe.
  22. That is £60k on average for a month. £15k p/w
  23. For nearly every club roughly 50% of the average attendance is made up of season ticket holders. This obviously fluctuates from club to club. It works out a lot cheaper as a season ticket holder. Divide the cost of a season ticket by 23 games and it is a lot lower than buying on a game by game basis. I'd advise against row B. Gives a terrible view of the game. Best to sit as close to the halfway line as possible from about row K up to the very back. As long as you are central, sitting near the back at St Mary's gives a great view. Hence why all the posh seats are situated there in the Itchen. So get an equivalent seat in the Kingsland.
  24. A couple of hundred season ticket holders! You'd have to go to the bottom half of the Blue Square leagues to find those sort of numbers!
  25. I'm intrigued why you asked this...? Of course they pay. Otherwise.... 13,000 season ticket holders could have for example 10 home Cup games or they could get none it is varible from season to season. That is potentially 130,000 free tickets, times £20, equals £2.6m That is ALOT of money to miss out on.
