We don't need a back up striker to score 10 goals. I doubt Long and Obafemi are going to be our back-ups to Adams and Armstrong. The back-ups will be Tella and Broja (plus Walcott & Redmond).
-
His parents are.
-
Completely out of his depth.
-
If Armstrong signs we'd have spent £32.5m on incoming players this summer. What about this deal makes it 'desperate'?
-
Adam Armstrong to replace Danny Ings, plus another young striker from our feeder club to act as backup...
-
Do you think it was based on feedback from his camp? Because Arsenal rejected multiple bids and then he signed a new contract. So Villa clearly misread the situation, perhaps they have with Ward-Prowse as well!
-
Do you think they thought they had a chance of signing Emile Smith Rowe?
-
That shouldn't be an issue, he'd get a huge wage increase at Saints.
-
He is out of contract next summer, so he'd need an extension first.
-
The medical is already booked for tomorrow, so it is extremely advanced for a gazumping to happen.
-
Why don't you ever play nice in the playground with me? 🤔😋
-
Probably A.Armstrong and S.Armstrong
-
No it isn't. Just took it to the extreme to highlight a point. Size of strikers doesn't matter, they play to their other strengths. Armstrong isn't being signed to be a target man!
-
He is very quick. Is Messi 'too small' for the Premier League?

Tom Leach says 'The total package Saints will pay for the player will not rise beyond £15million'.
