The rest of the 1st team's are on the club's website... https://www.southamptonfc.com/first-team Normally the club write an article with a list of them all shortly before the season and will include academy players who have a number. They haven't done that quite yet this summer.

    Why are you using his first name and the surname for everyone else? 😁 His name is Dynel Simeu. He is playing and training in the under 23 team rather than the 1st team, so I doubt he'll feature on the bench vs Everton. They'll probably view Stephens and Liveramento (and possibly Vestergaard) as enough defensive cover on the bench.

    As recently as July 2020 he was in a team that finished 11th in the PL, only 2 points from 10th. So it is hardly a stretch!

    What screwed us last season wasn't the first choice back four, it was when some of them weren't available, plus Romeu missing the back-ups weren't good enough. Bednarek showed throughout 2020 when in a settled team he formed a key part of a very good defensive unit. To say he isn't good enough to play in the Premier League is ridiculous.
