Enlighten me as to why signing a player 2 weeks ago, today or in 7 days matters when training does not start for 10+ more day!? I can't see why pointing that fact out makes me a "troll".
-
Because it hasn't signed a player 10+ days before the players start pre-season? I'm not sure why you are using that as a stick to beat the club with. If a player signed today, he would not be training tomorrow, they don't start probably until July!
-
Nope, they lost the playoff semi final to Aston Villa. Wolves, Cardiff and Fulham were promoted.
-
I doubt he had much to do with it.

AH FECK IT! FED UP WITH BRIIIICK

Why have you concluded it is indecision? That is jumping to conclusions on no evidence. It is 20th June, the players go to China for the start of pre-season in 10 days time. If a player signed today he wouldn't have training tomorrow. It is still early now.

WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING? IF THERE IS ANY NEWS OF PLAYERS LEAVING THE OS WILL LET US KNOW.
-
Were the people you spoke to about it?
-
The British media is not the only thing I wrote... I used an "or"
-
Not by the British media or people in British football for a move between two English clubs. Shame, because I voted remain.

I did acknowledge the further payments might not happen, but Heisenberg ignores them every time regardless and opts for the lower figure to bash the club. -
Would be odd if it was not pounds sterling. Why would we buy a player from an English club in Euros?

You know transfers come with guaranteed money and then potential (but not always fulfilled clauses that hit targets and raise the price don't you...? Sadio Mane fee potentially rises to £38.5m... https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/06/27/liverpool-could-end-up-paying-385m-for-sadio-mane/ Why do you continue bringing this up even though it keeps being explained to you that the £30m figure some media outlets used was likely to be the guaranteed money, the rest is in potential fees. -

You use the Daily Mail for £12m. Here it is £15m... http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12040/10933764/west-brom-set-to-sign-jay-rodriguez-in-15m-deal-from-southampton Have you considered it could be a guaranteed £12m rising to £15m? Like is suggested here... https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/823913/Jay-Rodriguez-West-Brom-Transfer-News-Southampton-News-England and here... http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11698/10934353/west-brom-sign-jay-rodriguez-from-southampton and here... https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2017/08/01/happier-jay-rodriguez-is-different-bloke-since-joining-west-brom-says-dad-kiko/ and here... https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/1225989/west-brom-set-to-sign-southampton-striker-jay-rodriguez-in-15m-deal-as-tony-pulis-starts-summer-spending/ and here... https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/626739/Jay-Rodriguez-West-Brom-Complete-Signing-Done-Deal-Southampton-12m-Gossip etc etc -

Are you saying that is high or low? Saints sold him for £15m. -
Well that just highlights you both overlooked the caveat I used in the opening post of that thread! I used the word "seemingly" in italics and linked to a report in the Portuguese thread, I did not claim to know it would happen, I was positing a link to a press story. "Seemingly" is not definitive.

Because if he doesn't leave he'd be playing in the Championship for a 2nd season in a row on less wages than he'd get in the Premier League in 2018/19.
-
I'm puzzled why you are both seemingly close to ruling out a signing in the next 10 days. Just because one hasn't happened yet... how does that impact on one happening or not before they fly to China?

Gibson is 25 years old, I wouldn't really class that as particularly young for a footballer. He has had 7 years of first team football. I don't see how Boufal qualifies as a journeyman mercenary. Saints are only his 3rd team and they are his 1st team outside the country of his birth.
-
I was just playing Devil's advocate and showing his record over the last 2 seasons has been a lot better and he hasn't had as many injury problems. I did not say if we should sign him or not.
