Saint Charlie, I predict this will be your version of the "Paul Wotton is a better player than Morgan Schneiderlin" thread.
-
I think despite being significantly younger he is a better player and offers more to England than the likes of Fabian Delph, Jack Coback and Tom Cleverly who have all been called up by England recently as central midfielders.
-
"doesn't have a best position" - what of you mean by this? And so what? He has one of the best minutes per assist ratios in the Premier League, I'd say that is a good attacking contribution. "woeful defensively" is also extremely harsh. He has actually bulked up quite a lot this season. Until this season Lambert has been first choice on direct free kicks on goal. Ward-Prowse's delivery from free kicks and corners is superb, it can still be a good set piece even if the end result isn't a goal.
-
So what? He is 20 years old and playing for a team that after 30 games is 6th in the Premier League. You'd struggle to name many players of his age that would be first choice in such a team. He has played 67 games for a strong Premier League side, Schneiderlin and Lallana for example when the same age hadn't played a single Premier League game.

Newly promoted teams are allowed to buy new players in the summer and January. The 2011/12 Championship promotion winning Saints side wasn't good enough to stay up, but we signed players.
-
He is talking about a Southend United player.

Ronald Koeman @RonaldKoeman 19m19 minutes ago @JayRodriguez9 could be fit in 4/5 weeks! That is different than playing a game in 4/5 weeks! -

Matthew Le God replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints

Distin hasn't played for Everton since 6th January.
-
When Lallana was Mane's age, he hadn't played above Championship level. Mane is a international, with European competition experience and has already shown himself capable of being a dangerous threat to Premier League sides.
-
He is 22 and will be 23 years old for the first Premier League game of next season.

*cough* "In the event that Portsmouth Football Club should be promoted to the Football Association Premier League, Portsmouth Community Football Club Limited shall be required to pay further purchase consideration of £3,000,000, if promotion is achieved by 30th June 2022, reducing to £1,000,000 if promotion is achieved subsequently prior to 30th June 2024." *chuckle* None of that is likely to happen.

With everyone fit I doubt Reed will be in the match day 18 ahead of Djuricic, Saints didn't sign him on loan for him not even to be a sub. Matthew Targett and Harrison Reed will still likely travel with the squad just in case they are needed.
-
A goal against Malta and a goal against England in a friendly isn't the biggest sample to make such a claim.
-
Rescue him from a £100,000 per week contract?
-
Can you please post a screenshot of that (preferably including today's date)?

Magic Mushroom over Staplewood today or was I seeing things

Its a different dome, the new one is inflatable from this company... http://covair.co.uk The old one had a steel structure to it, with brickwork for attached offices, meeting rooms and gym. -

CLUB ACCOUNTS: 2013/14 - Saints reveal first profit
Matthew Le God replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
David Bick was hired by Nicola Cortese as a consultant for Saints. It was Bick that read a statement to the press when Markus Liebherr died... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/8339125.A_tribute_to_Markus___David_Bick/ So he is hardly an independent financial expert in regards to passing comment on Saints. Sky make no mention of this and he may have an ulterior motive with his connections to Cortese. Post recession, can you trust a "financial expert" who wears skull and crossbones braces...? In fact, can you ever trust a man that wears skull and crossbones braces? -
Those seats were £737 as a renewal for 2014/15 - http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/15032014-201415-season-ticket-information-1489543.aspx They are also £737 as a renewal for 2015/16 - http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20150331-2015-16-season-ticket-prices-announced-2367028.aspx So they have been frozen.

At the age of 20 he is already a good team player for a top 6 side. Not many 20 year olds have played in 67 Premier League games, Lallana and Schneiderlin at the same age were in League One! He's been captaining England under 21's and was voted 3rd best player at the Toulan tournament, he is a lot better than many Saints fans give him credit for.
