So if Saints planned to put another 8,000 tier on the Kingland to take it unto roughly 40k, you'd only do it if we had a 22,000 to 25,000 waiting list for season tickets?

Saints agree personal terms with Tonny Vilhena - Unofficial

Does Saints being likely to finish in their highest ever Premier League finish not make you think you might be wrong in some of those evaluations...? -
If improving the England team is the main motivation (which for the FA's point of view it is, if not the Premier League's) then this is flawed in some respects as the "home grown" quote of 8 (rising to 12 in 2020) and "club trained" quota of 2 don't have to be English.
-
If you don't have two over 21 players who are club trained you simply leave space in your 25 man squad and the youth players effectively fill the club trained spot. If you don't have 2 over 21 year old club trained players then you could only register 23 players who are over 21 and then effectively the likes of Ward-Prowse, Reed, Targett etc etc fill in the gap and become the 2 club trained players. Of all the clubs in England we are set up extremely well to cover such a rule. No they wouldn't, the rules do not state anything about the home grown players having to be English. Saints currently 8 home grown players to meet the current rules... 5 are English, 1 is Irish, 1 is Northern Irish and 1 is French. The 2 club trained players in the rules don't have to be English either.
-
The football World Cup has a minimum capacity requirement for its stadiums that the Rugby World Cup doesn't. Given the relative positions of the two clubs, Saints can justify a need for a larger stadium more than Brighton can.

K.Davis Clyne Schneiderlin Long S.Davis Rodriguez Bertrand Forster Are the 8 "home grown" players for Saints in Premier League rules. You only need 2 "club trained" players in these rule proposals, if you don't have two over 21 players who are club trained you simply leave space in your 25 man squad and the youth players effectively fill the club trained spot.

I'll await his arrival, will be a fun evening ahead of us boys and girls.

THREAD BUMP! If Blatter did fail to be re-elected next month and England did make a bid for 2026; Saints would be in a better position to bid for this than they were from 2007 to 2009 bidding process for the 2018 World Cup... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32040304

He did, but that is hardly a problem for us.

K.Davis Clyne Schneiderlin Long S.Davis Rodriguez Bertrand Forster Are the 8 "home grown" players for Saints in Premier League rules. The FA are proposing the number of Home Grown players rises from 8 to 12 from 2016 to 2020. Plus you need 2 players in the 25 man squad who are club trained (at the club for 3 years before 18th birthday).
-
The FA's original proposals included... So if fee was set at £10m the likes of Wanyama, Tadic, Mane and Ramirez would qualify on price and their international record wouldn't matter as we paid more than £10m for them.
-
Why do you think that? The rules are to reduce the lower quality non-EU players joining the Premier League, not the high quality ones.

Top 4 chance now gone? Europa Thoughts?

It is true. -
Top 4 chance now gone? Europa Thoughts?

Would prefer us not to get into Europe this season in order to give us a better chance of getting into Europe next season? -
What were you expecting them to do? We normally only get an injury update at the pre-match press conference/interviews that the manager does. The Everton press conference and interview will be on 2nd April. We may get it before perhaps through social media, but they may still not know for certain what is wrong and as we've seen with Rodriguez its pretty pointless putting a timeframe on it.
-
You said very different things about him in 2012/13 when we were struggling at the start of the season with him in goal.
-
Thats not true. Sam Vokes... http://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/news/article/vokes-previews-southampton-clash-2347128.aspx#esA68FPeqbZZekKJ.99 Danny Ings... http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jan/05/southampton-burnley-fa-cup-match-report
-
Vokes was simply the player Burnley put in front of the media at the pre-game press conference. The press then questioned him about his Saints ties, Motd and Sky commentators then use the info from the press conferences in their commentary. Had Burnley used Ings and Jutkiewicz then similar would have been asked of them in the press conference.
