  1. Thats not true... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/31032014-financial-results-201213-1455995.aspx#MsTRLmuj0DvAJYc7.99 Staggered transfer payments are commonplace in modern football.
  2. Its the normal press conference before a game as they normally do, the club haven't announced what time it will be yet. It'll be live on youtube. Jim Lucas @Jim_SFCMedia · 18h Busy day, and another one tomorrow. @Koeman1963 to speak to the media in the afternoon – watch live at http://www.youtube.com/southamptonfc . #saintsfc
  3. Its not in the slightest bit "self explanatory". Using the phrase "not good enough" only makes sense if you put some context around it, like SO16_Saint has...
  4. Can you put some context on that... "not good enough" for what?
  5. I didn't say that did I? All this may well delay the deal until after the playoff game in late August, but I still think Forster will be a Saints player by the end of the window regardless of Celtic reaching the group stages or not.
  6. They reached the Champions League group stages last season which got them millions, yet the still sold Hooper and Wanyama to Premier League clubs before they got there.
  7. So you don't have anything to justify what you said, so when asked about it you resort to insults. Top stuff.
  8. Why? They didn't last summer when Norwich and Saints came calling. What is different this summer?
  9. Where is the "clear precedent"? All I've seen so far from people saying its wrong regarding other clubs getting financial punishments is for different offences to what Legia did. So they aren't precedents at all.
  10. Although it may appear harsh as the sub had no influence on the outcome, UEFA have to set a line somewhere or you get grey areas. Legia should have been fully aware the player shouldn't be playing, its their own fault and they brought in on themselves. Bloody idiots!
  11. By following their own rules that Legia should have been fully aware of?
  12. Celtic had a potential windfall in the summer of 2013, they still sold us Wanyama on 11th July (before the qualifiers).
  13. On what grounds? They broke the rules that they should have been fully aware of.
  14. Southampton signed Victor Wanyama on 11th July 2013. Celtic being in the Champions League & qualifiers didn't stop them buying him.
  15. Even if Celtic get a reprieve that doesn't mean we can't sign their players. Southampton signed Victor Wanyama on 11th July 2013, before their Champions League qualifiers. Celtic players will want to join us in order to play in the Premier League and get Premier League level wages, as will their agents.
  16. That won't be happening! Even if Saints did spend £90m this summer in real life, FM15 won't then let you spend it all again, as it would effectively be giving you £180m worth of improvements to the squad.
  17. Early access beta - via pre-orders from participating retailers two weeks before release Demo - a few days before release Game released - 7th November 2014 Packshot...
  18. At first glance that would fool a lot of people into thinking it was a photograph rather than game graphics.
  19. I think...
  20. Thats why I said "if". If we did have Rojo, van Dijk, Fonte and Yoshida as centre backs then that is probably stronger than last season. We'd also have more depth in goal if Forster joins and Boruc stays.
  21. If the plan is to bring both Rojo and van Dijk in, then Fonte may be 3rd choice centre back.
  22. Ronald Koeman.
  23. Yes, he can play left back as he showed at the World Cup, but Rojo plays as a centre back for Sporting Lisbon. Bertrand wouldn't come to us to play second fiddle, he wants game time. He would have gone elsewhere if he didn't think he'd regularly start for us.
  24. If Rojo signs it won't be to be first choice left back, it'll be to replace Lovren as the left sided centre back. Bertrand has joined us to be first choice left back and Targett is the cover.
