That is what the announcement in mid September is for.
-
As Ludwig says, the release date hasn't been set so it can't be changed. The delay is in the announcement of the game and an early look at it. Was going to be in late August, now in mid September. So not long now.

Did anyone else notice on the boards behind Appleton and Groves in the pre-match interview it had the logo of Convers Sports Initiatives? wtf! Can someone get a screenshot of it at the end of the game when they do post match interviews.

It is not unreasonable to think Ramirez is capable of playing even better than Puncheon can at his best. Might seem harsh to drop Puncheon, but no room for sentiment, lets get the best XI on the pitch.
-
I brought up Messi as an example to highlight why simply sticking with a player that "played well" if you have a better player available is a strange decision. I'll try again with a different example... If Lallana was suspended and Ben Reeves "played well" in his place, would you keep Lallana out of the team on his return from suspension? Ramirez is likely to be one of our best (if not the best player). Lets use him rather than settling for Puncheon (despite playing well in the last game), Ramirez should be able to do even better.

If Saints signed Messi you would put him on the bench in the next game just because one of the current players had a good game previously? No room for sentiment, put out the best side we have. Ramirez cost us a record £12m and will be our top earner, he hasn't joined us to sit on the bench because Puncheon had a good game.
-
Scrapping the barrel with his inclusion.
-
Because we just signed a player for £12 million?

Only if Zambia qualify for the finals, but as they won the last one they probably have a good chance of doing so. Also if they do makes the finals, no guarantee Zambia will be in it until the end again. At least it is only one Saints player rather than 3 or 4.

Grow up.

Yoshida is a central defender. Ramirez is (it seems but only from 3rd parties) a very good player and it isn't just defenders that defend, it is the entire team when you don't have the ball. Neither of us have seen either of them play, so lets not jump to conclusions quite yet. The defence wasn't that bad for large spells of all three games, remember two of them were against the two best English teams. We won't be up against many (if any) teams that will put our defence under as much of a test as Man Utd and Man City did. The Wigan result although disappointing didn't expose our defence that much really. Yes, there is room for improvement and Davis, Fonte and Fox are weakpoints, but you have used "at this level" based on close defeats against the two best sides.

This is an internet forum, I have debates with people where both sides have differing opinions. You accused me of "pot, kettle" with this act of physical violence and people condoning it. I really don't understand the logic behind that. It is, but at least I can hold the moral high-ground in this particular debate as I'm not inciting or condoning violence against someone for merely celebrating an away team goal in a corporate area of a stadium.
-
You say that without seeing him play, nor knowing what bids for centre backs went in during the window. For all you know Hooiveld and Yoshida might work very well together, lets not right them off before we've seen a new partnership in action over a few games.

I'd like to hope that most people in a civilised society thought like me on this issue. We'd be in anarchy if people felt they were within their rights to go around punching people because it offended them that someone was celebrating an event to their expense. Just happens we have a lot of wanna be Judge Dredd's posting in this thread so far and I'm one of the few to point out to them how pathetic they are.

The herding cows and breaking in horses etc is to teach you the basics of the game. In the same way GTA has basic missions early on it is to get you ready for the big set piece missions later on. Plus, for most "cowboys" in real life herding cows and breaking in horses is exacting what they would have done for their entire time on the ranch! Red Dead Redemption is my favourite game of all time if you exclude Football Manager. The expansion for Red Dead, "Undead Nightmare" is also worth a go.

I wouldn't punch him, as it really isn't hard to not punch someone. I'd only punch someone in self defence or for that of someone that couldn't defend themselves. Someone celebrating a goal isn't a physical threat to anyone, so why meet that with violence? It is completely out of proportion to react in such a way for something so trivial.
-
I've never punched someone for celebrating a goal or condoned it. What are you accusing me of that is comparable?
-
Some Saints fans appear to think they are judge, jury and executioner!
-
Would you rather not be punched at all for something as trivial as celebrating 11 men kick a ball in a net? Yes he was stupid for celebrating, but that doesn't deserve physical violence.
-
Of all the things you could say this is the most irrelevant. A punch is still a punch. And you have the audacity to call me a "tit"! Pathetic.
-
I'm now intrigued to here an answer to this from all those in this thread that think it is ok to punch someone in the face for celebrating the opposition score in the corporate areas. Where do you draw the line (if you do at all)? What if the Man Utd fan was... - a woman - under 18 years old - with his/her children - in a wheelchair - frail and/or elderly - pregnant - disabled physically or mentally Do you have any boundaries you won't cross or is it an instant punch in the face for one and all?
-
What absolute nonsense. Are you aware how trivial the act of celebrating 11 men they "support" kicking a ball into a net is? You are comparing it to criminal damage of somone's property! Even with your example punching them in the face is still illegal.
