If Steven Davis plays, it'll probably be him as captain again. Captained both Rangers and his country so should make him a good candidate against his first professional club.

So what? Boruc has 46 international caps for Poland and has spent the last 2 years in Serie A for Fiorentina towards the top of a top European league. Before that he played in a number of European campaigns for Celtic. That should be more than enough "experience" to cope in the Premier League. Give him a run of games (which he hasn't had yet) and he should (at least in theory) be more than good enough for us. How is goalkeeping in Serie A really that much different from goalkeeping in the Premier League?
