The question to which you gave the answer "QPR", was about provincial clubs with world class players. QPR are one of the last clubs you could possibly call "provincial". They are close to the richest part of the nations capital city. Not in any way provincial. -
Ah... the halcyon days of page 42. I remember them well, what fools we were.

Please explain how West London has suddenly become the provinces...? -
Neil Allen is in fear of his job = no club = no news = no job. He is on the verge of a full breakdown! Neil Allen = Howard Beale in the movie "Network"... [video=youtube;dib2-HBsF08] It's uncanny!

1) Plural - players. 2) How can QPR possibly be described as "provincial", they are in West London ffs!? -

You think QPR are a provincial team with world class players? Wrong on both counts. -

So you don't think Clyne or Rodriguez would get into many first XI's in the bottom half of the Premier League? I beg to differ. -

We've signed four players (three of which will be regular starters), plus Tadanari Lee will feel like a new signing given his lack of matches last season due to injury. Plus Adkins has said they intend to bring in more players before the close of the window. Stop panicking and relax. Good things come to those who wait... -

If he said it "before we signed Clyne", then it has happened. Between that point and the Man City game we signed Clyne and Gazzaniga. Two players. -

He has said they want players in before the transfer window closes, but at no point has he made a public statement saying they will definitely have one or two in before the Man City game. I think you may be confusing the two. -

The Saints Youtube video's just show brief clips of the full interviews that are on Saints Player. If it was on the Youtube channel, it would have been on Saints Player. -

Andy Crosby (and not Nigel Adkins) was interviewed after the Wolves game and he made no mention of "we'd have 1 or 2 in by Man City". -

When did he say that? Can you provide a link to this please? -
You can't really call AFC Wimbledon an equivalent, they are a protest club against MK Dons, both clubs exist at the same time. If the Pompey fans start a new club there isn't already another club in the league system they are a protest club against. I don't see why Pompey's claims of attendances should have any bearing on which league they should go in. Lower league club's cope with large cup allocations, why couldn't they for league games? A better comparison would be the new Chester club, when the fans formed a new club after liquidation it was initially placed in the 9th tier, they appealed and were moved to the 8th tier. I see little reason why the same shouldn't happen to a new 2013 formed Pompey team.

Lots of bookies still taking bets on it here... http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/league-1/portsmouth-v-bournemouth/winner

You are right he is. So on the night Pompey are forced to play their youth team, a player they released so they could sign senior players leading to their downfall scores against them! Irony?
-
BBC Radio Devon say 200. Either one of them is wrong or they both are.
-
At last a goal!
-
Plymouth are going to have a long hard season if this is the best they can do. Credit to Pompey's youngsters, but how haven't Argyle scored yet!? Westwood off injured, Pompey's oldest outfield player is now 18, with Paul Wotton playing its like a Dad's vs Lads match.

Clubs were given the choice when they wanted to play the games, between Saturday and Tuesday. The two clubs had to come to an agreement.

He has played out wide before and is capable of doing so. Just seems a waste of his talents as you might aswell buy a proper winger.
-
Yes, but I also don't think Lambert will play every minute of every game and Rodriguez/Sharp can be used in his central role. Its a squad game after-all, as Adkins keeps reminding us.
-
Maybe some benefit to using him as one of the overage players in the Under 21 Premier League.
