If you are being serious and can't see why a football game which aims to be a simulation of real life, doesn't give an indication of what a player is like, then there really is no helping you.

I'm pretty confident I have the Saints players positions pretty accurate on Football Manager. I base their positions on having a season ticket at St Mary's and watching them play, same applies for other clubs and their researchers. Professional clubs even pay for the privilege of using FM as an initial scouting tool. To rule it out as a resource as quickly as you often do is quite wrong to do.

De Ridder also isn't as bad as some make out, I still think there is a good player in him struggling to get out. Sorry, but that is not evidence that he was "forced upon him". That is very much jumping to conclusions. Mayuka is still young and we have other players playing well in his position, Adkins still puts him on the bench a lot even if he doesn't play.
