Redknapp, we all hate but we all know we missed out, don't we?

Amazing how the media have removed the events of 2005 from his CV. -
Is Adkins living up to your expectations?

Of the current 5 other teams in the top 6... Saints have beaten 2 (Bournemouth and Sheff Weds) Drawn with 1 (Colchester) and not played the other 2 (Brighton and Charlton) -
The words of Nigel Adkins 20th November 2010. Does that put the doubters minds at rest? Goes into more detail about it in the interview on Saints Player. I'm not going to transcribe it all, but is all very positive stuff! Yet again more hints of loan signings before the loan deadline next Thursday, plus talk of spending in January (like he has been hinting heavily at over the last few weeks). Despite these interviews and the fresh training ground story this week, people on this forum still think the money has stopped for some reason!

That Gobern is the 4th choice central midfielder.
-
But atm sugar daddy ticked gives you too much money, pretty much a bottomless pit. Would need some coding changes.
-
We don't know yet, until we actually get to that point in real life. All guesswork atm.

The lodge makes little difference in terms of quality of the players, it is the youth scouting and coaching that produced these players. IMO the system they switched to in the summer - i.e. basing players in families around the city, is a better way to develop the academy players. As it gives them a more natural life outside of football, as opposed to a group of teenagers living it up all together.
-
Have you not watched the interview where Adkins said they may loan in some more players before next Thursday's deadline and huge hints that they will be spending in January then? Recent improvements in the last couple of days to the training ground development show the money hasn't stopped and so do the interviews with Cortse and Adkins over the last couple of months. Puncheon, simply is not going to get much action at Saints (as he hasn't in the last 4 games).
-
Well listening to Adkins numerous interviews over the last few weeks where he makes huge hints they will be spending in January is also "obvious" isn't it? But you have overlooked them and also Cortese "apparently" telling those in the Itchen concourse after one game that they will be spending.
-
Saints wingers swap sides throughout games. Lallana/Puncheon/Chamberlain never stay on the same side for 90 minutes in any game.
-
If they spend in real life in the January 2011 transfer window then the head researcher and I will consider making them have a sugar daddy again. At the moment we need more evidence. Sugar daddy ticked in FM10 made it unrealistic, not a challenge and far too easy.
-
That is dependent on what you have done between July and January to be fair.
-
Adkins has already given large hints that they will spend in January in a number of interviews on Saints Player(including todays). Cortese reportedly told those in the Itchen concourse after a game that they will be spending. I don't see where your doubts are coming from...

The original plans I don't think mentioned any of the things proposed in the Echo article today. Seems they are in addition to those granted planning permission in Feb 2010.

The current training ground is more than adequate for League One. What these developments do is put the club on par with Premier League clubs. Saints in terms of facilities had stood still for about 5/6 years and have been overtaken by many. You don't upgrade a League One clubs training ground to the proposed levels, unless you also intend to invest in the playing squad. Would make no sense.
-
Then why have the club within the last dew days submitted further plans for additional training ground improvements on top of those announced in 2009?
-
Not listed on the New Forest District councils webstite (yet) if you do a search for SO40 4WR. Just lists the main building development proposed in 2009 and granted in January 2010 as the last application.

Use are misunderstanding what an "emergency loan" is... An "emergency loan" is ANY loan between early September and 3rd Thursday in November when the loan window shuts and again from early February until 3rd Thursday in March. Richard Chaplow, Nicholas Bignall, Anthony Pulis, Jack Saville, Paul Wotton have all been emergency loans in/out for Saints so far this season.
-
Have Saints made public how much they will spend in this 5 year plan? No If it looks like the club will start spending again then the transfer window data update will reflect it. Until I have more evidence it won't change. Saints start the game in July 2010 with £6m in the bank, which I think is quite a lot for a League One side! In the patches for FM10 I made Saints have a sugar daddy, which just made managing Saints far too easy and not a challenge at all. A more conservative approach is now the best course of action imo.
-
There are still times when free transfers can't be signed. These windows close when the emergency loan market closes.

The entirely speculative 'replacements for Puncheon' thread

The S****horpe chairman said none of his players will be following Adkins anytime soon... -
Did you not notice the transfer window is shut and no club can buy anyone? Even the loan window is soon to close (I think next Thursday).

Andy Robinson is the under 18 captain. As with the rest of the subs, the format used shows that the trialist started the game and was replaced by Andy Robinson, Joe Curtis started and was replaced by Callum Chambers and Jordace Holder-Spooner started and was replaced by Jake Sinclair.
