I really dont care who sponsors us but after all the talk of a multi-national conglomerate as thats the only companies Nicola wants us to associate with, this is underwhelming. I like the fact its local and all the gumph but it's not the sort of brand people had in mind when the rumours were that it would be a huge company like one of their clients... Just because a company has an impressive client base doesnt mean they are in the same bracket. I just hope they change their logo because it is sheeite as Liam Gallagher would put it.

IN fairness derry, you are making out as if Reading are keeping Xavi on the bench. Howard's a decent player and would DAJFU but he's no world beater. I personally would like us to get him but I went on a night out recently with Howard's brother and he was saying they were in discussions then... that was over 3 weeks ago. If it hasnt been thrashed out in that time, I doubt it will happen unless Reading all of a sudden become willing to contribute towards his wages.

Terry shouldnt even be in the starting XI in my opinion. I just dont rate him. At international level you need centre backs with a bit of mobility. Terry doesnt have this. He'll get his head on long balls over the top all day long but how many quality international teams play like that?

As far as I know McKenzie is a current Cov player. Fair play to him for saying what he's thinking. WIll probably cost him a couple of weeks wages mind...

That video is absolute quality. He threw him down with quote some force too! Fair play to him. I remember when I was about the same age as those lads a kid in the year above kept spitting on me and punched me in the face a couple of times. I went home and my Dad noticed the flob marks all over my jumper. He told me to go in the next day and pretend as if I'd forgiven him and offer my hand to shake and then plant a head butt on his nose. I caught him plum and ended up bursting his nose all over his face, claret everywhere. Never had a problem with him or his mates (or anyone at school for that matter) again and am actually pretty good mates with the lad in question.

Because Ankergren is pony. Norwich changed their keeper because Newcastle loaned him to Celtic. Norwich were desperate to keep hold of him. I like KD and think he deserves a chance back in the Championship but he is always prone to dropping a huge clanger but in fairness makes up for it with a series of saves he has no right to make. I remember Brentford away last season. It was probably the finest display by a keeper I have seen since Niemi was here and nothing was made of it.

When I go down early to beat the queue I continue watching the remainder of the first half on the TV's anyway so I miss no more football than the idiots who stayed glued to their chair until the half time whistle determined to queue for their pint as long as possible.
