As I've just mentioned on the teams that hate us thread, according to some random Narwich fan on Twitter, the whole of Norwich hates us because we sang "that's why your nationwide" in the FA Cup in 2003, for this reaosn alone, I don't want them up, plus I think Holt is an utter kno0b.

Glad to see Totton win the league, nice new ground for a new division, things are looking good there, and should make a decent sum should Gosney and his team mate move into the professional leagues this summer too!

My auntie has £1 on Fonte to score at any time, throughout the whole season, had brilliant odds earlier in the season, starting to come down now though!
-
Lallana for me, I agree Fonte should be close as he has had a superb season, we just cannot or would not be anywhere near where we are without AL, his ability on the blal makes him league one's best player, and therefore our player of the season too, here's hoping he wants another season with us next year!

saintsforlife7 replied to saint peach's topic in The Saints
Managed to start, Glory Glory Markus Liebherr and the Saints go marching on, on, on, on the way back from Brighton Saturday, nice and easy to catch on too, can we get this one going for the remaining games? -
I've currently taken FC United to the Premier League in 2018-2019 season!

Markus Liebherr Tributes / Walsall Game Tribute

First forever a saint flag is the best design and love it to go from the Northam all the way round the ground as the players come out, and then back round afterwards on the lap of appreciation maybe? Would chip in, needs to be massive though! -
Great results, hadn't looked until now as expected both to win, and they both dropped 2 points, all in our hands WIFM

One spare ticket for Charlton wanted
saintsforlife7 replied to niceandfriendly's topic in The Saints
Got a lad who bought a single ticket and is coming with us, just going to move up to the back section as thats rarely full and will be plenty up there singing and standing, so if you want to sing all game I think the upper seating is best for it from previous experience -
I think his point is that we think we are loud because we sit amongst the noise, whereas a small away support tries to sing and from the Itchen you can't actually hear us, which is why that corner don't seem to join in with us(me included) from the Northam is because unlike we may think, they can't actually hear us. Not saying our singing is quiet and poor, but I don't think we are as loud as we think, away I think we are much better than a lot of teams, but home atmosphere is severely lacking these days imo

Barnard has a higher penalty taking rating(17) than Lambert(15)????? -
Understand the singing songs about Bompey but this is quite good Last line should be compared to Pompey your rivalry your rivalry means nothing at all, would be good
-
Went to watch FC United of Manchester vs Burscough, decent-ish game, 2 great goals as they won 3-1, and they sing continuously for 90 minutes whatever the score is, we could learn something from them in terms of atmosphere!

At the Charters Bar there were some people singing outside before the game, they had a Radhi Jaidi song which was quite amusing, although probably not to some on here I do not know the tune so I cannot guide but the lyrics were IIRC: My name is Radhi Jaidi, I look about 50, I play for a team in the south THE SAINTS When I walk down the street all the people they ask me.. OI, GORGEOUS, WHAT'S YOUR NAME...
-
Here's my (somewhat bad) attempt: To the same tune that Liverpool used to sing Best midfield in the world too. I know ours isn't the best in the world but ours is quite strong, and it fits! Ohhhhh ohhhhh ohhhhhh we've got the best midfield in the world, We've got Morgan n deano, lallana and chambo, n'guessan and richard chaplooow! Cringey?

It's funny because he thinks that's the actual statue

Richardson for me, came back from injury and has looked quality without any real recognition of such, just going about his work in a professional manner!

My effort: Rickie: There ya go son, proper English breasts!

Im debating Tranmere next weekend, surely this makes that decision easy? Great great win tonight, good to see that we have different scorers too. Bring on Notts County!! -

We have already made substantial bids for players

Jaidi was absolutely awesome today but I would like a younger replacement for him to switch between. Seabourne doesn't do it for me, not impressed at all. Woolford would make sense and looks good for NPC as well as L1 but I'm not sure on Austin, think he'll get a move up a league, Le Fondre is a good shout, but would he cut it at Championship level? -
I agree, useless T*T who jumps around waving like a mong when the Lambert song starts. Glad to see him gone, Justin in the PA room said a more rousing pre game speech than Dennis ever did!

So that we aren't ripping Connolly's tune for Chambo, how about Alex Chamberlain la la la la la, Alex Chamberlain, laaaa la la la la la to the tune of Ruud Van Nistelrooy at Man Utd, not very tricky but would be different and is quite easy to sing? Cant find a Youtube to it I'm afraid
