Surely that is because he hasn't had the chance to play, when playing he was the top goalscorer in a European qualifying campaign as he broke Davor Suker's record of 12 in one campaign as he scored 13, this included a hat trick against Spain. He can hardly be bad if he has that record to his name. Just because he's not good enough to get in at Sunderland doesn't mean he's rubbish, he just hasn't played to be able to score goals that he has proven he can do in the past, even for a poor international side like Northern Ireland. I'm not saying we should sign him, but we could do a lot worse than him, he's a fitter Connolly imo and would score goals in this league

Ok I have halved my problem, if I pick a single chant it works during the match, but I thought the idea of the playlist was that it played all songs within that playlist during the match? Is the playlist meant to be called Southampton or Saints? Would it work either way in the game?

I'm PS3 and I've followed the instructions to a tee so far. I've just tried making my V.P in Saints again and see if I get the chants this time EDIT: Still doesn't work and I don't know why!

Managed to do it on World Class in the end, another thing, trying to import these sounds onto PS3, I have put them all into a Southampton playlist and then gone into club screen and picked match and set it to the playlist but I cant hear the chants, anyone care to tell me where I'm wrong?

Anybody doing the Virtual Pro career? I cannot for the life on me score two full volleys in a game, as it does not count half volleys, anybody know or found an easy way to do it?

For me, he had a storming game yesterday, his best for us. Won alot in the air and put his body on the line on numerous occasions, however he's still not a favourite of mine due to the fact he's prone to trying to hoof clear and hooking it straight up in the air, and just when he needed to be at his best Morrison turned him way too easily and Kelvin made a "worldie" to make sure we got the three points

Sorry Tartan but I don't agree, apart from three late saves Kelvin didn't have much to do, and I thought we created numerous chances. Lambert had a header fantastically saved by Weaver first half and Barnard could have tapped one in after he put one over the bar, Lallana could have also tapped one in after he came on and CHambo had a few efforts. To say we were poor is a little bitter imo. You were not good at all but you still made a game of it. However, if we had a little bit more luck we could have been out of sight by 80 minutes when your pressure told, not that many of your fans would have seen that as they'd boo'd and left by then anyway

Lambert was not awful today! It wouldnt drop for him to score but he worked hard and was involved a lot! Hammond Seabourne and Jaidi had really strong games but MOM goes to Kelvin for his two, but particularly the last save, absolutely full strech save as the ball seemed to pass him! In NA we trust!

I reckon it's gonna be the first win in the sash. If we keep them quiet for 15-20 minutes the crowd will be on their back as they hav ebeen under performing recently, we will grow in confidence and nick it 1-0 in the second half. Lambert header from a Holmes cross right in front of the away end!

Agree with the topsoil comment, there have been some huge divots coming from our turf, and although it plays well still this is an unusual scene for a much envied Southampton pitch over the past years!

Am going to stick up for Puncheon tonight, although he sometimes slows the game down and we moan, he's looking for a more risky pass than the simple ball to Fonte which I can respect a lot of the time, and at times he absolute tore their fullback to pieces, he tied three of them in a knot in the second half inside the penalty are, played a nice intelligent ball for Lallana in the first who should have scored and alot of our good play went through him. Just after Saturday people sing his name when he beats someone and floats in a cross but as soon as he tries something out of his comfort zone, like using his right foot and giving it away people boo and shout that he needs to be sold and that's way out of line with his performance, thought overall he was one of our best players this evening.

From where I was sat, we were on course to hammer them for the first twenty minutes, went 1-0 up and fell asleep, they conceded and we seemed to lose all idea of what we are doing, Puncheon had a bad game, he seems unable to do things quickly, gets the ball and would rather try and beat somebody and show off than sweep in a cross. We desperately need pace down the wings, Lallana is such a more complete player than Puncheon as everything he offers is for the team and he wants to make things happen. Jaidi loves to hoof it forward but he has never been a passing defender, that's all he offers, and taking Hammond off says alot about what he offered today. Barnard my MOTM and wonder why he was taken off and not Rickie, Barnard should have scored but had two cracking efforts one bouncing off the post and the keeper making some good saves. Overall we need some squad depth, only having two subs to change the game is not good enough, but Lambert hasn't had a pre season and once the team gets back in the flow of things we will start scoring more and winning games comfortably. Have faith, hopefully Pards will be allowed enough time to add just slightly more to the side. WIFM
