Personally feel we should give the stoke line up another chance, Arsenal always seem to be dire against Stoke and we've already seen how trying to out Arsenal, Arsenal ended up! Ramirez on for the last 20 if we're still in with a chance.
-
I'd hope that if this was going to happen its been pretty much done BEFORE the window opens. Don't want another Ramirez saga which stops us going after the other players we actually need e.g. A winger during this window. I really don't know much about this fella does anyone know if he's in or around the Italian squad?

West Ham setting up 2 million bid for jason Puncheon

Serious question, do you actually know he hasn't been offered a new deal or is it just something you suspect because we've heard nothing official? -
Personally wouldn't mind this if his wages weren't the no doubt silly levels. Could do a good job still and as someone else said role model for the younger midfielders. Never going to happen though!

Utter mornonic behaviour o boo one of our own. Guy came on did a decent job as he has in basically every game he's played it's season only o have idiots boo him, we'll done! We as fans expect loyalty from our boys yet apparently can't give it back. Some of his goals last season have us where we are today, show some respect and support in future. Judge on his game by game play not by some silly grudge you have from the last game you happened to be there for or your daft mates explain to you.
-
Charlie you are talking out of your backside my friend. Lambert won the majority of his headers granted not his best ever game but far from the shambles you are projecting! This is the way we should have played reading for the title last season perfect game play by us today. As for the muppet skiving Guly crap today ... Grow up! I don't care how bad you consider a player has been every player that comes on for saints deserves our full support not to be mocked.

Adam Blackmore on twitter saying he expects Ramirez to be on the bench and mentions injuries to change the team so possibly shaw as mentioned on here? I'm half expecting to see Boruc pop up as well.
-
Aw fair enough! I did think it was a bit odd for us to boo Jos who IMO has been pretty unlucky!
-
Amazing :-D Very happy! Some of that play was Barcelona-esque ;-) That bit in the second half where we went all the way down the side line nearest the dug out with about 6 passes and had a shot looked great. Rodriguez goal looked pretty onside to me and that the Gazzinga save will not have done his confidence any trouble! Shame some idiots booed Jos as he came on I am actually pleased to see him get some minutes as hes a top bloke and we're bound to need him at some point this year. I do however wonder what Mayuka has to do to get a sub appearance at the moment!? Some of the through balls we were playing only he had a chance at getting!

Not sure you will be able to get a radio link as previous poster said. Radio Solent don't stream it over the internet due to a rights issue. If you have I swifter on your iPad though you could watch a flash stream on something like http://www.wiziwig.tv with that but I can't guarentee the quality!

Quick question ... When will the writ be coming through for the 90 minutes Guly sat on the bench away to Everton? ;D

My team for Saturday ... Boruc (if available) Clyne---------Fonte ------------ Yoshida ------------- Fox (its bound to happen) Cork------------- Schniederlin-----------Guly (I think he would toughen up the left hand side as my reasoning) Ramirez---------------Lallana Lambert I think we need to toughen up the midfield and Guly can put in a challenge on a good day and isn't a little powder puff midget. I'd like to see Morgan get forward a bit more so our mids aren't pulled right back against our defence so we have no out balls. I'd probably tell one of the CM's to sit in front of the defence so we don't end up playing a ridiculous 2-8 when we go forward and get caught out again like on Monday. I'd like to see GM and AL get a chance to show who is best in the 10 position! Gotta stick with Lambert I think as seems to be our only instinctive striker atm, a man who can take a chance if it comes about! As for Fox, utter garbage but I can't see Nige putting in Shaw for a full game. I suspect there is a key flaw in my plan that one of you cleverer people will pick out for me but hey nothing Nigels doing is coming out right either so I will be in good company ;-) My big worry is that Swansea play decent football and we'll get caught out trying to play them off the park :-( Desperately need a win COYR's!

Can I just say this is utterly, without doubt, the dumbest most stupidest and special thing I have ever heard on this forum! "Please FA let us drop out of league football (our whole purpose for which we are designed to do) and let us come back next season" Aside from the financial situation just no.
-
Why oh why have we made no subs? Surely Mayuka couldn't be doing any worse? Is it worth seeing if shaw can do a job?
-
If nothing else I hope that Adkins realises that AL is not captain material. Don't know about the players but he isn't inspiring me much! As others have said leaving us too exposed on the flanks and his crap interchanges with fox are getting embarrassing. If you're going to cross Danny do it from 10yrds further up the field at least so it won't just float nicely to foster!!!
-
Anyone know why it's taken more than a week to sort out this Boruc stuff? Seems that it could have been dealt with by now but hoping gazza will play a blinder.
-
I will clarify because your point is fair enough. It is just a bit dull for several well known posters to point out how well in the know they are regards how rubbish we currently are. By all means discuss why or how you think we're doing so badly but to just keep saying "we will be relegated blah blah blah" yep we all get that ;-) As for the strange comment ... IYO obviously? ;-)

Michael Dawson or someone with an equal level of experience, I don't know a lot about European leagues but the Italians always seem to churn out decent centre backs. Probably a few good shouts in the Dutch league and they always seem to fit well into the English game. Matt Phillips or Tom Ince as we need pace out wide with this system
-
It must get quite boring to keep banging out the same negative stuff again and again. We are all Saints fans here we know that we aren't doing well but hey I'm sure the majority of us remember the bad old good old days of great escapes. We have started poorly that can't be changed now lets just hope we buck our ideas up in the next few games and start to feel a bit more "part of" the premier league rather than a bit part player.
-
Isn't it Andy Crosby? :-s I do wonder if perhaps his lack of high level experience is a bit of a draw back? I'm sure someone with a higher coaching pedigree than me can tell me why that might be wrong though! I wonder if Jaidi could do the business?
-
Waigo @ wembley - The guy celebrated like he knew that was probably the top moment in his career. Seeing the "Waigo dance" at wembley was great! Hammond - Goal vs Leeds at home in the 3-1 last season. Set us up for the season and a real captains display that day.
-
Because judging a player is only based on goals scored and assists made. -rolls eye thingy- just admit he has done a decent job, without setting the world alight.
-
Haha if reed gets made manager I wonder how many people calling for Adkins head will be happy? Failure of a manager with Charlton you can't take this bloke seriously as a member of the first team staff. Leave him to get on with his academy work as he seems o know his business there.
-
If you take the (I think it was first goal) Fox was forced to go to the man with the ball as Adam just stood and watched, this was then compounded as the ball was then played to the man Fox would have been with, again AL was no where near him. To me this is basic defending errors which our whole team need to work on better IMO of course. I'm not Fox's biggest fan by any stretch but he's not being helped out as well as he was last year.

We're continuing to make the same mistakes week after week. The two wide mids fail to track back. The centre mid is powder puff and j rod and lambert are both ineffective with the constant long ball crap played upto them. To me Yoshida is no better than Jos. Gutting that we seem to fail to grasp the need to work as a team this year. If you get out of position work your nuts off to get goal side again don't just gently amble back expecting someone else to cover you. For me I'd take off J Rod and wack on Mayuka and see what he can do. Anyone know why Lee was not included on the bench?
