Aside from the fact he was pretty rubbish for us and the effect this would have on team morale especially for our captain, great idea!
-
I think it was villa at home? Would be happy for him to sign on again but I think he will have been disappointed in the last minute offer and will fancy a nice big signing on fee for someone else in the summer!
-
7 only issue I really have with him is how he deals with shots low and across him. Thought he should have either put a stronger hand or held the first one yesterday. Palming it 3 inches away from you isn't ideal! To clarify this though I'm no keeper and have no idea if that's a reasonable expectation from that sort of shot. Not as good as niemi more reliable than boruc.

They haven't played anyone inform in recent weeks. They have luck on their side. They played us after we had 2 back to back draws and the day we played them LVG got it all wrong. Then they played a Newcastle that has lost Tiote and Cisse and have no manager. Now they will play Swansea after a 5-0 drubbing and with their morale low. They syruggled vs inform Ipswich. If they play Chelsea right now they could get destroyed. Gardos and Fonte are not solid. One of my faves from that thread. Good job we keep getting lucky! 22 game weeks in a row! Amazing bit of luck that! Grades and Fonte not solid? What happened at OT the other week? Haha pipe down mancs time to realise we're a decent team playing well :-)

Still Lambert for me. £1 million, over 100 goals, 2 promotions, goals vs portsmouth, goal at Wembley to help us win a trophy, that goal for England and genuinely seeming to be a nice bloke.

Have the club actually ever said what is wrong with him? Pretty extensive injury to have missed 6 months worth of games.
-
Don't the losers of champions league play offs end up in the Europa league? Sure besiktas played arsenal this year and were playing spurs in Europe last month?
-
A routine win? Old Trafford away first time in 27 years ... Yeah absolutely routine :-s
-
A Dutch football magazine on twitter said we've offered a trial to Dario tanda a 20 year old attacking midfielder from FC Twente but he was ill and missed it! Expects us to offer him another chance though as Koeman is apparently a long time admirer.
-
Actually quite like the one he already has! If it could slow down just a touch it might sound as good as when the Celtic fans used to do it!
-
Could do with a rule more like in rugby union with a set period of time to see if an advantage does develop before returning for the foul. Stupid to allow a player to be fouled end up further away from goal through the "advantage" and lose the momentum of any attack.
-
Top trolling Ron, already had my Liverpool supporting mates moaning about this happening "can't take our club legend!" One word reply ... Lambert.

What's the betting the Dorris has a fella?!

Need to get pelle to start holding the ball up a bit more rather than flicking it on all the time. Get it down and bring others into play like he was doing in his purple patch and we'll start to look a lot better!
-
Seeing as he highlighted the Davis injury before the reserves played last night wouldn't it have made sense to move Rowe Seaver or sims up to Sheffield (they were only in Nuneaton) so we could fill the bench. Not many attacking options in that lot is there?! Solid first team but not seeing a lot of creativity in that little lot!
-
Newcastle? I thought it was odd they highlighted his kicking which I actually think is pretty decent! Better than Boruc! I'd say his area to improve in would be the low shots to down to his right seems to not read them so well.
-
Thought it was a mistake to bring him on as I don't think I've ever seen him do anything positive. Long at the time was best attacking player for us. Would far rather see a game for Seager (sp?)

Part of it up here. Que people reading lots into it I'm sure. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29849537

Three actually two leg semi final if I recall correctly!
-
In fairness to Forster he has been pretty dominant crosses wise whilst at st Mary's. Saying that he hasn't had a whole heap to do so far at home and I would certainly like to see him get in some serious practice against these type of low down shots he seems to have a small issue with.

If they wanted a good team goal they needn't have looked much further than our very own Morgan vs Newcastle, 41 passes and a great finish. Had it been at Utd, City , arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool we'd never have seen the end of it.
