Seems ridiculous that there is no right of appeal when even the clearly cheating badminton players got that! Big shame for the younger girl though let's hope she gets another chance in Rio.

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

Am I the only person who would feel a little un-easy if we were to start offering players 100k a week as things are? Not that I think this seriously has any legs though! -
Really thanks for this. It's no wonder people get abit funny with you having answered none of the questions I raised ;p
-
Just had an interesting thought ... Let's say Pompey do make compromises with all their players and are brought and then cannot sign enough players in time for the season, what happens then? What's the lowest number of players you can name in a match day squad? How many players can you start on the pitch with?!
-
or "5-1 and we still love you , apart from erik, liam, ben, dave, chinny and the trust" as is more accurate! I am also enjoying the fact that 2 saints "lads" are playing for this team that they love so much! haha!
-
Serious question having gotten this far down the thread ... can you honestly recall one player we have had tied to a 5 year contract who has been so utterly inept? Who will never feature in a first team game and from the sounds of it has never been considered a viable option by any of our management teams. Cheers in advance if you can!!
-
Instead of bleating on here to bunch of people who have no say in our transfer activity why don't you bombard the club with this valuable insight? Presumably its that you know you are talking out of your sonic screwdriver? ;-)
-
A question for any of you bright folks ... So IF they were to sack Kanu for breach of contract could he in turn sue them for a large amount for their previous breach of contract thus ending up having to pay him for the full amount of his contract?

There's a post on Ugly Inside that we've bid £3m for K Schmeichal

I think I saw this on football-rumours earlier in the week if that helps!? Would be a good signing though -
What a load of tripe "officially ended last night" Neil/Nicola I can see how you might have got confused ;-) I would say its far more likely that he will have a bit part role probably playing in the cups and starting from the bench. Seeing as none of us has any clue about what formation we will play next year who knows if we'll play 2 CM's or 3 in which case Dean may well get more game time than any of us have predicted.

E14m Hate to be a pedant but its misguiding the argument some what if people think Alba is worth only 8 million. Went for £11.2 million if the BBC is to be believed. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18630652

No problems? I thought it was widely reported that it took upto half time to get some sections of the crowd seated correctly?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18577192 What with Rangers now having 5 votes against them and therefore not being in next years SPL how Saints can justify 25 quid a ticket when last year there were 2 decent european sides there for less is beyond me. Shame really as I quite enjoyed the format last year think I'll just go to the Ajax and Udinese games instead now as I can't see them being the same price. Poor pricing for a game we should be able to pack out in memory of Markus.

I remember at one game this season some lads in front of me giving him abuse after 2 minutes ... problem was it wasn't even him making the mistake. Its the tool mentality at the Northam end of the ground at work again. Guly misplaces a pass he's the worst player ever, Lalana does and its bad luck. FWIW I think he is a decent player although perhaps not as consistent as we would all like. He's played a valuable part in our rise up the leagues and for that I think he deserves a far greater level of respect than some on here and at games give him credit for. He may not be upto it in the prem but then again who would have predicted Norwich and Swansea players stepping upto the mark so well last season, more to the point Nathan Dyer is a premier league player ... Who wouldda thought it!

Don't do it mate! The atmosphere is like a morgue. The only good bit being that if you have an under 11 to take its free in there?

Not sure about that he definately moved his elbow at Tevez, how much pain Tevez actually felt from it is a different matter! The kick out at Aguero aftewards was just sheer petulance. I would absolutely hate for him to end up anywhere near our team not that I think he's a realistic type of target for SFC. -
See is that not just a silly comment? Can you honestly say that there is not ONE left back of equal or better of our very own Danny Fox? The guys been alright but not spectacular this season. His crossing and out ball is generally good but he falls down on his ability to work the flank with Lallana and often stands off his man giving space for most recent example see his performance vs Kebe @ sms. Kebe is no where near one of the best wingers who will be in the prem next year so imagine what a Valencia or a Bale could do to him!!!

Download Iswifter for a couple of quid and you can run Saints Player fine then.

Looking for one ticket for a mate if anyone has one could you PM me contact details! Cheers :-)

You just know that all Reading will do now is suck it up for 44 mins and score on the bloody break! Come on Palace! Could Glenn Murray last years nemesis actually sort us out this season!? He just hit the post before half time!
-
Agreed! Move along folks nothing more to see here! Please please Please hold on Palace!
-
I cant explain just how much I want us to be equal points to Reading due to some remarkable un-Crystal Palace like football on Saturday. I've never wanted Palace to win anything ever ... Just this once lets see a Reading team LOSE to a flukey 1-0 late late show!
-
Question is how seriously will Brum take the last game of the season? If it was us who would you want to avoid in the play offs?
