To be fair a mate of mine asked if he could swap to another game as he'd be on holiday and they swapped him to another game without any trouble

Ask him if in retrospect he feels the move to saints under the dutch clowns was a good or bad thing for his career and would he sign for us again in a similar situation?

I thought it was Pardew not the dutch clowns who were sacked for putting it about? ;-) ALLEGEDLY

Amazing what a team can do when they want to do well in both the cup and the league ;-)

Lets not forget our GD is massivley better than most of the teams below us so even if they equal our pts e.g. Charlton, MK etc would still stay below us so unlikely we'd be out of the top 6 after next weekend.

Not trying to be vindictive or otherwise start an argument but are you going to the utd game? I think that would be highly out of order to all of the people who have brought tickets and our reserves taking a pasting would hardly help the "feel good" factor we keep being told about which surrounds the squad.

I worry about how music is being taught in schools now judging by how out of time the little kids at the back of block 38 were banging the backboards yesterday! All this high speed OWTSGMI really wrecks the song. Theres no build up and by the time you realise what song people are trying to get going you're in the middle of some overly quick ear ache!

Don't you know Torres would be crap in league 1!? ;-) Also didnt Tubbs have a trial here at some point already and was deemed not good enough. I'm sure this was within the last two years, think he may have come across at the same time Martin was on trial from Eastleigh.

7 bookings so far in todays game vs Brighton and a sending off, do they still give FA charges for more than 5 bookings in a game? I wonder how that extra 25k fine will go down with the CVA payments ;-)

90k a week for training? Yeah he's really fallen on hard times! Much as I like Bridgey and do look out for hows he doing I don't have any sympathy for his situation I'd happily take half his wage for the year let alone a week!

Better chance of getting 20k a week at poor old pompey than Yeovil though ;-)

I thought this was sposed to be a 0-0 draw?! Some people need a bit more patience and to get a grip! COYS!

Hardly a bogey team when we were beating them 5-0 last season though ey!? Seems to me like we have changed our tactics from then to our detriment meaning Lambert is ineffective and having removed all the pace from our team we are not as effective going forward. Why oh why is Chaplow ok for the bench yet not for a start? If he's injured then having him on the bench is a waste anyway!

My expectation is now to finish somewhere between 5th and 8th. I think we might just end up sneaking into the playoffs but I'm not sure we'd win them! Hopefully Sunday/Tuesday will kick start our season and from then RL will score 30 goals and this post will be sent to the "talking rubbish" bin!

But surely we want to move away from having all these "crap" squad players? Why sign him up on the basis he could do a job potentially maybe one in every 40 games. My mates a boro fan and is yet to stop laughing when I tell him how people on here actually want us to sign him!

Good job people have forgotten he saved us a point in the very last game before this with penalty save v Brighton. He is defo gash though ey! Must have made him feel really good getting ironic cheers from our own fans saturday when he caught a ball after conceeding.

I was saying to the guys go with yesterday that our style of play totally negates RL. Last season we had two speedsters who got the ball forward super quick leaving him with acres of space to do his thing. How many clear cut shooting chances did he have yesterday or in fact in recent games? Not many I've noticed hes getting the odd half chance but without last years confidence is looking to pass these off to help the team get into a better position. This tippy tappy pass sideways bollaxs were playing at the minute just slows down the whole game and lets defenders and midfielders get goal side of our attacks without any trouble.

No depth to our squad at the moment. Unlike last season no one useful on the bench to change the game though surely today making a change would have helped! Poor poor poor today not sure I think anyone in that team comes out of this with any positive spin! Need a pacey winger/ Striker in as a bare minimum!

He really engineered his dismissal for a job thats come up 3 months after he was sacked here? Thats bloody clever! Judging by alot of fans views on here he just isnt that good tactically surely? ;-)
