Never like it when we sign players with existing injuries. We will have paid the guy for several months of rehab and 2 sub appearances. Onuachu will have had more game time than him this season by the time he comes back and he’s been on loan since August!

In the Turkish second division though. I’m a bit dubious about the quality of attacker in that league! can’t say many people would be happy with Lis as first choice. Another totally barmy signing.

Can’t tell me someone like Alcaraz needs rotating he’s barely played for the last month whilst sat on the bench. Think he and Sule should start for sure and go from there.

Not sure I’d be comfortable with a 40 yr old CB. Clearly a decent player but will only go downhill from here. Liked him here the first time, appreciated what he did for us and enjoyed his doing well but he’d come back because the championship will still pay decent wages and we need something a bit more long term.

It’ll be something to do with number of games he plays. You just know they’ll work out he’s pony after 3 games and he’ll be returned to sender.

Must say think this appointment is another massive risk. Realistically we need to be in the promotion mix this season, to be down any longer than 2 season is disastrous for our club.

His value will never be higher for us short of a miraculous prem season there which feels unlikely. He’ll also be into the last year of his contract further reducing his value. We either need to decide he won’t make it here/ he wants to leave or tell him he’s here for the next season.

With the youth team he always seemed to be more of an attacking threat. Possibly worth trying him further forward? Seems to be robust enough if nothing else!

This kid is so good. Dominated Partey and kept Odegard quiet all game. At one point he dropped a shoulder and took the ball pass Partey, before doing it again just to take the piss. Rolls Royce footballer. Just awful when we take him off! Diallo is such a drop off!

Pretty sure he was involved in some sort of fraud to do with cars and went on the run to avoid his comeuppance.

Can’t say I’m a big fan of that line up. Doesn’t say a lot for our winter signings that none make the starting line up. Guess we will see in about 2 hours if I’m right
