Cheers. So he was going to have an injection after the game, not before it, to see if available for Spuds.
-
This thing about Pelle needing injections. Was this actually said somewhere? The only reference I can find to injections before the last game was about Stek who had injections for his toe injury, but they did not have the desired effect.

frice.. No apparently it is "four times" but some people have started using the made-up word frice... No, nay, never may be better...
-
Agree with you there, but then £12 is hardly a serious loss, if that is the maximum stake that is allowed.

7-0. We were 8th (of 22) I think about this time, when Lawrie took over from Ted. No-one was even thinking of relegation, we had just gone 11 games unbeaten (including League Cup) then we lost to Norwich in the League Cup and hardly looked like winning again. Only 3 league wins after Christmas (including one on the last day against Everton). The rest is history. People think we cannot get relegated this season... (not saying we will).

No you're not in the minority. Woy reckons he's good, but otherwise most people realise there is a reason Poch doesn't want him. Really hope there is nothing in this, not just because he is rubbish, but also because we should not do business with Spuds.

Apparently Sparv is a massive United fan. Good job we didn't give him a chance. He would have ****ed off to his spiritual home. Shame, actually thought he was half decent, in a helmet, mongboard sort of way.

Lets not forget the Cult of Cortese..

Wonder what the odds were in 1973?
-
Nope, just think he'not very good and unlike Hodgson his club knows it.
-
Might be something to do with the fact that his dead leg injury from a couple of years ago is apparently still causing him trouble.
-
Don't forget Mongboards are inhabited by Helmets, almost everyone who goes to football these days is a helmet apparently. Only the Chief Helmet (and his little mate) are exempt.
-
Leicester highlighting what we did wrong in that game. They are not dropping deep thinking they can defend their lead. Instead they continue to play the way that earned them the lead. All in spite of what the clueless Sky commentators think.

Man City in 1938.

Perhaps you misheard people saying he was a duffer.
-
... quite right and according to Helmet in Chief everyone who posts on an internet forum (mongboard in Chief Mong's terminology) is a helmet, apart from him and his "mate" of course... Who cares if the forum has lost it? The only benefit of posts here is to cause amusement for Chief Helmet.

So, we should try to sign someone who doesn't give a **** Think we have more sense and hopefully we won't do business with Spurs anyway.
-
With the possible exception of us, who are not capable of beating anyone at the moment...
-
Not sure this is anything to do with 3 at the back though, I have seen this happen several times this season when VVD gets caught out when we have been playing a back 4.
-
You mention 3 players, but Verbal is right. We will also be losing Ramirez, probably Isgrove, Caulker and Stek, hopefully Kelvin will also retire. Juanmi implies he may want to go. We may not need to replace ALL of the potential 7 or so, unless we fluke our way into Europa again, but if Ronald is still here he won't want to have a significantly smaller squad than he currently has, and there is precious little apparently coming through from the Academy, though hopefully Stephens will get the place freed up by Caulker.

Augsburg drew Liverpool. If we had qualified we would have had the fixtures that Augsburg got (not the ones Midjyttland got) as they inherited our seeding place. Of course we wouldn't have got Liverpool because the draw is rigged to ensure teams from the same country do not meet, so we will never know who we may drawn. All academic now anyway.

1 out of 3 if you're lucky.

As you say, football matches are not random independent events. It is highly probable that their next game will not result in a loss.
-
Sadly that is not the case. The defeat has a significant impact on the next result, these are not discrete events in terms of probability.
