Silly really, Lambert has cored more penalties than Welbeck has scored total goals this season in 39 appearances for the top club in England. Defoe and Sturridge I can deal with but Welbeck really does not deserve an England place, even a Manure place is debatable.

How do you know? He could have been added. Steve de Ridder was registered as he was on the bench last week. Just not sure of the number we had registered back in February, if it was 22 or 23 then there is no reason Sharp cannot be added. Whether he is good enough is immaterial.

Thanks to everyone for letting me know, don't usually have a problem, just suddenly realised last night that I had not see tickets arrive. Phoned the TO this morning, confirmed they had been sent, so they will issue me new tix on the day of the match. If anyone sees Postman Pat rocking up to try to get into the match then we'll know where the tickets went :-)

Plenty of people used to alternate between watching Saints one weekend and Pompey the next. There was friendly rivalry in the 1960s, no animosity at all, although my old man was a Pompey man and took me to first Saints game on the understanding he would never do it again. Ironic really that he was Pompey, given his grandmother was born in Bullar Street, something he never knew, and that Mary Bates was his cousin (again something he never knew). When I started going to the Dell the rivalry was with Spurs, and that has always stuck with me.

I don't think they will, but it would not be a surprise. They beat Arsenal away last season during their run-in when they won 5 of their last 6 (2-1 on April 16th). It should not be dismissed out of hand as impossible.

You have an overly simplistic view that "defending yourself" occurs in court. This would all have been settled in solicitors' offices.
