  1. No he wasn't, he really wasn't. He scored a goal and made one or two opportunities, but his dead ball deliveries were a complete waste of time every time, and it was embarrassing how bad they were. I am a big fan of Gaston, but he had an average game at best on Saturday, and I think that is being kind. Davis, Morgan, Cork, Clyne all much better last weekend.
  2. I have bought 2 so that should help
  3. Yes thanks good of you to join in to back up your troll chum
  4. So why don't you go troll their board then.
  5. I thought you were trying to say he would be OK.
  6. Do you think each player has a watch, or is it the same one used over and again?
  7. So if players from top clubs are burned out play top players from other clubs, some of who have not even played 35 games all season. Roy's bit today makes him look totally stupid.
  8. Could have been worse, they could have named Ashley No Goals Young. ManU really do turn out some red hot attacking players that get to play for England. Still fair play to Luke, good to see Saints Academy has produced 2 out of 7 of these so-called elite players.
  9. Another one, two 5 year deals in a day, he must be made up
  10. Nice assist by Guly
  11. Aldershot are a disgrace :-)
  12. and Jesus is his deputy. Sorry, didn't see someone beat me to it it, but I did originally post this on 13th February: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?43296-How-long-till-we-get-a-song-for-the-Sheriff&highlight=Jesus+deputy
  13. How was Newcastle away a terrible result? Most people on here expected us to lose to them, in the end we were a bit unlucky. Transformation of JRod (playing him down the middle) and Steve Davis is down fairly and squarely to the Sheriff in my opinion. We had awful games under NA just like QPR, not sure I even see that now as a terrible result, just something that was bound to happen with Saggy Chops in charge. Not dissing NA by any means, but the difference since MP arrived is clear for all to see.
  14. Would be a disaster, screw our pre-season, and scupper our PL campaign effectiveness. Bloody noddy europe cup screws teams who do not have the resources to run 2 teams. Starts too early, continues too long and provides poor financial rewards. Its the last thing we need.
  15. Even dinosaurs have a small brain. It only needed a small brain to see this wasn't a foul, so even the slug balancer could see it.
  16. goal difference effectively makes the gap 7
  17. Please can we have our "o" back?
  18. No they weren't, they were truly awful but managed to score twice (the second one didn't matter but was awful by Fonte). I still think Wigan that day were a disgrace to the PL, and we lost to them.
  19. Good thing having lots of talented English players, it means we don't get too disrupted during international breaks.
  20. When we already have the best MF partnership, what we need is backup/competition. We were poor this season when Cork was unavailable, and have been quite lucky that both have been almost ever present since. Imagine if one (or heaven forbid both) were unavailable long term due to suspension or injury. There are places where we are quite thin on the ground in terms of adequate replacements for our 1st XI, LB and RB for example, but we don't really need to find significantly better that what we have. Its not like any of the players in these areas are getting on and need to be replaced, they are all young and will improve.

Please no, we don't have squad for Europa League - time and again the Noddy competition costs teams dearly, income is not worth it, we would really struggle in PL if we had to play in this silly competition and we would be playing competitive matches in June. We have to skip this hurdle and go straight for CL.

Why is playing City, Chelski or Liverpool seen as a bad thing for these teams. They are easy fixtures, after all we beat all of them, so can't be too hard. :-)
  23. Rangers to win today please, they are no threat to us, and want to see a bigger gap open up. Don't give a damn about saggy chops.
  24. Red you are absolutely right, we were poor in the first 20 minutes or so, and were hanging on, our defence looked ropey, we were panicking, and we could not string 2 passes together. After that we seemed to gradually take control and they began to lose heart and in the end it became a matter of how many we could score. We were far from our best today, but did more than enough to win.
