I have a lot of sympathy for others who lost significant amounts, except Wilde, but to be honest buying shares in a football club should never be about making money. My "investment" was purely so I could attend AGM/EGMs and help to get rid of the idiots who were ruining the Club. Sadly I never got to exercise my right to attend, mores the pity. Assuming you're talking about Antonio. Reading have already made it very clear he is not in their plans. If he was they would have stopped him playing tonight like our other loanees. Don't ask me why, they must be mad, but there you have it. What we have to hope is that Reading do not sack Brendan Rogers before January, a new bloke might have a different view.

I always understood the transfer window applied to all professional clubs. I don't really know what level Easteigh are at (Southern League?) but I'm surprised that a transfer is allowed at the moment.

Good to see him getting amongst the goals (even if against FGR Reserves). It will do his confidence good. Just because he is curretly not first choice, it is very likely that if he performs in the reserves that he wil earn a chance again in the future, and we may be glad of him if Ricky gets suspended or injured (of course I hope that doesn't happen but we need to be realistic about players availability for 50 games a season)

There used to be a rule that no team could loan more than 2 players from another team. Unless that rule has changed I would treat the story in the Sun with the contempt it deserves. With Poke and Thomson already with the Gulls I don't see how Matt could go there as well. Other than the pictures, and updates on some nomark Soap stars I would be suspcious of anything written in that rag (or any of the other red tops for that matter). Of course if true then I would be delighted as Torquay are and always have been my 2nd team.

As far as I know no-one is cup-tied, I don't think any of our squad has played in the Qualifying rounds this season for any other team. Some of our loanees may not be allowed to play by their parent clubs, but that has nothing to do with being cup-tied per se. It may be of course that they want to avoid them being cup-tied in future rounds.
