I think Milwall - Huddersfield will probably be the most nervy 90 minutes of the season for me. If Milwall can win that we leave ourselves with a very strong chance going into Yeovil. COYR's.

My Dad sold a URL to Dulux for just under a grand, not sure how much he paid for it but it wouldn't have been much. He also sold a couple of personalised number plates for £600 and £750 which he bought for peanuts years ago when they where first introduced. He's always very lucky with these sorts of things.

I like interchanging between the two formations, sometimes 4-4-2 is best and sometimes the 4-5-1/4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1 or whatever you want to call it is better. Essentially I don't care what formation we play as long as we're winning.

Looking forward to this too, hopefully a better trip than Nottingham at the end of last season! Going to make a weekend of it in London I think.

Indeed, should have taken off Defoe earlier for Kranjkar and gone 4-5-1 so they could control the game. They missed a link up striker yesterday, Modric could have done the job but they could have done with an on form Keane really. 4-4-2 is just too one dimensional a lot of the time, especially when the other team have an extra man in midfield.

The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread
Andy_Porter replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
Antonio, Waigo, a midfielder and a right back. Hopefully that's it, signing too many new players would be counter productive IMO. -
Thank you for pointing that out.

Showing their true colours as usual.

Anyone who uses betfair a lot will notice there are loads of really odd betting paterns that point towards match fixing - I remember a game in some greek league with 350k staked on 2-0, all the other games had 1k tops, suprisingly it finished 2-0....

Watch the city - birmingham game safely in the knowledge that Chelsea will win the cup.

It's rife imo http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1066544/Russian-mafia-paid-Bayern-Munich-millions-throw-UEFA-Cup-semi-final-judge-claims.html http://www.howtofixasoccergame.com/blog/?p=46 Both good reads.

Showed his class again yesterday, not many other players in football who could create so much space in the box with his first touch. At one point apart from Keita, Alves and Marquez where the only non Barca youth products in their team ... Would have thought more teams would be following there youth setup and trying to copy them.
-
I think that's a bit harsh tbh, not many teams who start a season on negative points finish in the top half let alone challenge for a play off place and win a shed load of cup games. We will have to start next season well or I think Cortese might get impatient with Pardew but I've every faith that he will take us up next season.
-
I think the Tranmere right back is on loan from Man City. Shaelum Logan...
-
It really is a fantastic achievement to even be in within ten points of the play offs. I've been very critical of Pardews over cautious approach on games but he's clearly getting it right far more often than not, really think he is the right man to take us forward. IMO it was the run of away games after Christmas that eventually lost us our chance at the play offs. If we could have held on against Brentford, Milwall or Exeter we would have got the play offs this season, conceeding so late agaisnt Milwall was gutting.
-
Won't be supporting either of them, I couldn't give a toss what happens either way i'll be ****ed off so i'll probably just watch the Man City - Birmingham game safe in the knowledge that Chelsea will win the cup.

I'd keep Lloyd James and maybe Wayne Thomas on reduced terms and find a long term right back solution over the summer. Ostemebor is nothing special.

Polish President & Others Die in Plane Crash

Did wonder why some bloke in my street had a Polish flag hanging out his window. -
Puncheon is just that sort of winger. If he was consistent he'd be playing at a far higher level.

Can't wait for this now, going to be a cracker. Planning on getting the 7.54 train.

Friendlies against Mexico and Japan, final squad called up on 1st June.
-
If Chelsea let him go or he chooses to leave he will be a fantastic signing wherever he goes.
-
Unless they can get rid of Berbatov there's no way they will bring in another 20m+ striker, Especially now Javier Hernandez has signed. Fergie just likes his 4-5-1 too much to sign another big name striker, they really need another player like Ronaldo who can do a job out wide or upfront.
-
Can't see Capello calling up a striker with no international experience. I wouldn't be totally against it just don't think Capello will do it, the fourth striker position is up for grabs though, if he can keep this form up then who knows... Rooney, Heskey, Defoe + 1 imo.

I haven't been to Peterboro, Plymouth and S****horpe so they'd all be good. QPR, Palace and Watford where all decent aways over the last few seasons so wouldn't be too unhappy with those either - Sheff Wed was a shocking game so would prefer not having to go there again. In terms of who we would get the most points from next season I'd say Watford and Plymouth joining Peterboro.
