To be fair to MLG he's turned this thread quite humorous, which might be in bad taste but Carlisle is not in life threatening injuries and even he's laugh at how someone can be such a dinlo. From wishing Carlisle all the best to prayers abusing children in about 50 odd posts.

I was sure that it was mentioned by Reed or someone when there was the opening of the training ground that we prepare for the next three games. Maybe that's behind the scenes preparations by the other coaches watching the rivals etc.

Shame, saw him on 8 out of 10 cats Countdown last week. I've always liked him. Could be a large bout of depression kicking in and luckily it hasn't ended his life, hopefully he'll get through it.

Travesty, we should have won that at a canter, we were much the better team. Keepers were the difference.

Robbie Savage - Why its time to take Saints seriously
Saint_Ash replied to TopGun's topic in The Saints
Cheers, I really enjoyed reading that. -
I enjoyed that. Nice slick passing from England and pressed well, as alluded too earlier by some it's reminiscent of saints. All saints and ex saints performed well. Forster should've done better with the goal though.

Looking Steve's stats I would say 72 points in the target to aim for to get to top 4, this will obviously be reduced if we manage to get some excellent wins against the usual big boys which we are more than capable of doing at home. This would need us to get another 47 points from 27 games. 16 more wins and we're there. Easy.

Saints vs Sheffield Utd (A) Capital One Quarter Final

Looks like Ched Evans could get a nice warm welcome... -
Tottenham's Emmanuel Adebayor: We are afraid to play at home and it's hard to understand what Pochettino wants Shame he hasn't got his translator anymore.

He likes banging the same drum every week with the hope we'll lose so he can do his told you so bit. Extremely tedious.
-
But not made up by the paper I think is the point. They probably print stuff they know is false but that doesn't matter if they have been told by their contact as they are just passing it on then.

Interesting. So based on that, our best 11 would be ----------------------Forster---------------------- Clyne--------Cahill--------Jagielka---------Baines Downing-----Henderson----Noble--------Sterling --------Berahino------------Austin----------------- Only two players not in the England squad there. Sod it, let's give it a go!
-
Some surprising inclusions there, have Lambert, Carrick or Walcott started a game all season?
-
Bit like Drogba with Chelsea really.
-
Really enjoyed that, not the usual rhetoric of "yeah they're doing well but will fall back down the table where they belong". I don't think we'll finish top 4 but nice of some football people not completely dismissing it.

Divine intervention?

Yep, I think Sakho has scored in something silly like 5 games in a row.

Pochettino asks Levy to sign Jay Rodriguez
Saint_Ash replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Getting JRod back in the team in January will be like the best January signing we can do in the window. Our players will start to get a bit knackered by then and, if fit, he can help keep us firing on all cylinders. The only reason we should sell him is if it is for stupid money and Koeman gets to spend it how he likes but I'd personally want him to stay as we'd struggle to find a better player to sign in January. -
Winning the League Cup would be our strongest chance to get into the Champs League. And if people don't love a good cup win then there's something wrong with them, you will not feel the same euphoria "winning" 6th.
-
Cracking game tonight. Proper cup stuff.

unfortunately nothing on it though but damn happy with result!
