I got bitten by the 4x4 bug a while back and own a Jeep. Been out loads with various clubs and I can safely say that I havent seen any of them vehicles 'off' the road. Maybe the Cruisers, Patrols and Jeeps handle different as the terrain is different out here. Why not just pick up a cheap 4x4 which you dont mind banging up a bit if you want to do some good challenging 4x4'in? I have a few more scratches and dents on mine and I havent been on any tough trips yet.
