Hasn't been able to force his way into the team at WBA. Would be a good signing imo but not the type of CB we need. Think we need a Jaidi type personally. And Mowgli, my info about Adam's injury lay-off came from the huge thread about it. VMAN has been spot on so far about everything.

With Adam set to miss a significant chunk of the season now, do we act in the transfer window to bring somebody in or use the squad? Personally I would get a loan player in, like a youngster from a top European club.

Although that said, Yanga-Mbiwa is a top-notch player. Would be perfect for us. Don't know a huge amount about Sanchez, but it sounds like he's that "enforcer" type of midfielder - an option in our squad that we're missing really.

I think Yoshida's been decent for us. Don't forget he's come from the Dutch league which is much less physical than the Prem and is up against players of superior quality.

Why do people want to sign a keeper? We've got 3 that are perfectly capable of doing that job without us having to go out and invest time and money that could be better spent improving other areas of the team. CB, LB and a wide midfielder for me. Caldwell, Olsson and Pennant?

I suffer from the condition commonly known as "shy cøck". I'll use a urinal, but not if i'm next to somebody or if it's in the middle of a row. I'd rather queue 5 minutes for a stinking cubicle than píss in a crowded urinal straight away. Went to see Muse at Wembley Arena as a nipper, remember being desperate for a slash to the point I thought I might píss myself waiting for a space to open up in the "trough". In the end I had to cram myself in between two huge fat blokes with the acrid stench of their whiskey píss stinging my nostrils. Couldn't make myself go, so had to go in the car park instead while my Dad shouted at me to hurry up. Bit of a faintly horrifying experience for an 11 year old and been funny about urinals ever since. Fin.

I like Kelvin, but tbh he had sweet fûck all to do today. Mostly he just had to concentrate on keeping his head in the game and getting his distribution right. Would still much much prefer to see Boruc in goal of our 3 keepers.

First half there was little atmosphere from both sets of fans. Oddly enough when we went 1-0 up we got louder and they got quieter (if that's possible).

Have you literally got nothing better to do than to come on here and talk shît? Guly did very well when he came on, he looked lively, made some good runs with the ball, passed it around nicely on the left and stretched their centre backs. He did his job, and as Saints fans we need to do our job and get behind the players that pull on the Saints shirt. He hasn't actually been bad this season, he was great against Man City and probably our best player against West Ham. I literally have no idea why people seem to dislike him so much.

Reading were awful, thought we were a bit average. First half was terrible, no urgency or communication. Stepped it up in the 2nd though and glad for the 3pts! Ref was shît as well, some abysmal decisions. Complete clown!

I'm no fan either, but that's the way things are now.

You are right in a sense that if the call had never happened, this tragedy could probably have been avoided. But how were they to know what the knock-on effects would be? If they had spoken to 99% of the other staff at the hospital they would've been told where to go and been hung up on. This may seem incredibly insensitive, but it seems like it was the naivety of the receptionist that was the cause of this whole thing, not the fact that a couple of DJs called up the hospital for a prank. Obviously it was an immature and pointless prank, but it was just that. This whole witch-hunt is completely absurd.

Seriously, that's commonplace now. The shows that you see on weird satellite channels usually treat horiffic subject matters like child abuse, serial murders etc as mere titillation. Pick up any of those glossy magazines you see in a newsagents and there will be something equally awful, if not worse, on the front cover. That's our "culture" nowadays.

Awful thing to have happened, but I hate this whole SOMEBODY MUST BE TO BLAME culture that's developed now. I'm sure if the DJs had known the consequences that their actions would have then they wouldn't have made the call in the first place. We don't know about the state this person was in prior to these events, whether she was depressed or just having a tough time. We all did prank calls in our youth, it's a pretty harmless thing. I just don't think the careers of these two men should be ruined because of a really unfortunate incident.
