  1. There's definitely a 'scapegoat culture' among Saints fans.
  2. I'd take... QPR - Win Newcastle - Lose Norwich - Win Liverpool - Lose Reading - Win
  3. Completely different levels of talent.
  4. Don't be so cruel towards Jamie, he's single-handedly protecting this nation from destruction. Think Iron Man, but set in Plymouth.
  5. Zaha is such a little tosspot. Won't fulfil his potential unless he sorts out his ego and arrogant streak. Bet he still occasionally glances over his shoulder when he's out and about though, just to check Guly isn't there.
  6. Played against us in the ML Cup I think. He's looked quality whenever i've seen him.
  7. I rate him but opinion is divided really.
  8. Goes without saying, but a win is VITAL. --------------------BORUC------------------- CLYNE-----FONTE-----MAYA------SHAW ---------------CORK-----MORGAN--------- MAYUKA-------RAMIREZ-------LALLANA -------------------LAMBERT------------------ Subs: Gazza, Hooiveld, Fox, JWP, S.Davis, Puncheon, Jay Rod
  9. John Holt. Absolute legend!
  10. Oh and I love Kelvin for what he's helped us achieve over the last few years, but he's not the answer. He's a consumate professional and i'm sure he knows that he's not #1 any more. The same people clamouring for his return are the ones thinking that getting Sharp and Hammond back will save us. Not the answer.
  11. Boruc is an experienced keeper at the top level, with dozens of caps for his country and a clean sheet record for Fiorentina last season. Gazzaniga is a 20 year old who was playing for Gillingham a few months ago. Don't get me wrong, Gazza has shown his usefulness, and i'm sure he'll be a good keeper in the future, but we need the experience that Boruc brings right now. He'll improve with games, don't forget his 2 appearances for us have been his only ones since June.
  12. 2 CBs, a LB and possibly a RW. OUT Seaborne De Ridder (sorry Steve!) Dickson Butterfield Reeves (loan) Lee (loan) Puncheon (if we get a decent offer for him - his contract's up in the summer) IN (any of) CBs Gary Caldwell - Great organiser, good leader. Experienced too. Charlie Mulgrew - Very technically capable, can play LB too. Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik - Great athlete, strong and quick. Vegard Forren - Integral part of Solskjaer's Molde team, great all-rounder and still young (24). Dejan Lovren - Unrealistic but if we're going to break the bank then I can't think of anyone better. LBs Martin Olsson - Rampaging, question marks over defensive work though. Cheikh M'Bengue - Uncompromising, great defender but can be a bit Barton-esque with his tackling sometimes. Jonathan Parr - Versatile, lots of potential. Played with Clyne last season and looks a class above the Palace team.
  13. What a load of bullsh¡t. Very convenient to have a "gagging order" stopping the real reason for his departure being revealed. Paves the way for all kinds of sh¡t to be touted as fact.
  14. Monk one was definitely a foul, whether it was in the box or not I don't know. Surprised no mention of Clyne's pen, thought it was a stonewaller.
  15. I think you were.
  16. Had a good view of the first, some contact but he went down way too easily. Couldn't see the second but people I spoke to were fuming he got booked for it. Think Clyne's was a pen too. Marriner bottled some big decisions today.
  17. Appy, burtonsaint, de-fence, Le-gend, Lets B Avenue, pinky, Restark19, Saint_Ash, Turkish, xxiv. Some interesting ones in there...
  18. My mate's band had a residency at Joiners a few years ago, owners were really supportive and gave them a big leg up.
  19. Trago Lounge is good, but f*cking expensive. I would say Chambers as well. Nice place, not very expensive and usually pretty quiet so good for a chat.
  20. Obviously too young but Hendrix at IOW in 1970. Love his live recordings. Also wish i'd seen the likes of Dylan, Bowie, Led Zep, Beastie Boys, Oasis, Nirvana etc at their peaks.
  21. Looks farking shiiiiite. CGI zombies? Read the book again the other day having already read it countless times. Fantastic book and ripe for adaptation as a mini-series or maybe a few films. Trying to fit everything into a linear story revolving around a central character smacks of typical Hollywood arrogance and ego. You couldn't ask for better source material really but it seems that they've largely ignored it.
  22. About 2 f*cking miles away from where my family live. They went there after the Cov game for their party too.
  23. Tbf to Convict, the girl in the picture you liked looks about 15!
  24. Agreed, the pacing of this season has been very frenetic. Story arcs introduced from the comics into the show which could have lasted 3 or 4 episodes are being wrapped up in an hour. Will be interesting to see just how detailed they'll make The Governor's exploits in the show as opposed to in the comic, and whether the gang will be staying at the prison beyond the end of the season or not.
