  1. David James to be joint Manager with A.N. OTHER. Heard it here first.
  2. Getting my tickets for Reading after the West Ham game on tuesday, anyone planning on going on the Saints coach there?
  3. Anyone seeing The Subways at the University tonight? Looking forward to it, should be a good one!
  4. I'd love to see us sign him, quality player. He wasn't at his best on Saturday, but when they played the ball into his feet instead of lumping it in his general direction, he looked to cause us problems.
  5. I couldn't hear any music being played after we scored on Saturday - hopefully it won't make an appearance again! The noise our fans make is more than enough thanks!
  6. You were the one who was talking about it! You're right about referendums though, unless the Lib Dems get a majority government soon.....
  7. Only because the Tories chose what system to propose a switch to, the Lib Dems would not have suggested AV if they had been allowed to choose which system to have a referendum on. AV is cumbersome and the Tories knew that nobody would vote for it, I wouldn't really call it a fair vote in the first place tbh. Let alone the fact that barely anyone voted in the referendum in the first place!
  8. Fox was excellent yesterday, as was Frazer. Harding and Butterfield are excellent back-ups, both established Championship full-backs with young'uns like Dickson, Shaw, Stephens, Reeves etc waiting for their chance.
  9. Vowing to create 300,000 jobs and 400,000 houses whilst not changing his mind about cuts in a stagnant economic state. I'd like to see you try that, Dave!
  10. I want to work in PR for a well-known tobacco firm. It's been a dream of mine since I was little.
  11. Fresh Meat you mean? Terrible sterotypes on that program, although of all of them I would say i'm probably most like the scottish one. The scottish one reminds me of a hairier Nick Frost.
  12. Suicide.

    Frazer R

Wasn't too sure about him last season, but he's been quality this year. One of our best players, pushing Lambert and Lallana for our best imo.
  14. Newcastle were f*cking lucky today though, Wolves were on the end of some terrible refereeing decisions - including the ref giving a free-kick outside the area for a foul which happened a few yards inside the box, and a perfectly legitimate goal being ruled out because the lino (who had the sun in his eyes) thought the ball had gone out when Jarvis flicked it across the goal from a cross. Pards was a good manager for us, just a shame he was a bit of a stroppy c*nt at times.
  15. Had my first go on this earlier, it's much more difficult than FIFA 11. I like that it's more realistic though, you could score some stupid goals on 11 which, while fun, was a bit annoying.
  16. Would Citeh and Manure fans support Manchester Athletic? Would Liverpool and Everton fans support Scousers United? Would Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, QPR, Brentford, Leyton Orient, West Ham, Millwall, Charlton, Watford and Fulham support London FC? Probably not.
  17. At half time I was concerned as we didn't play too well in the first half. I should never have doubted us! Could have had 7 or 8, Chaplow hit the post twice, Lallana hit the crossbar, Lambert put a shot just wide, Richardson had a good shot saved... It's very encouraging to see that we're creating so many chances. Davis 7 - Made a very good save in the 2nd half, didn't have much to do otherwise. Richardson 8 - Very good going down the right, fantastic individual move with a shot just saved after picking it up outside our penalty area in the 2nd half. Fox 8 - Can't fault him at all today, fantastic delivery from set-pieces, strong defensively and looked good going forward. Quality player. Fonte 6 - Not his best game, not winning as many headers as he did in L1 but looked composed on the ball and didn't have much to deal with from the Watford strikers. Hooiveld 8 - Dominant in the air, dangerous from set-pieces and good in the tackle. He looked delighted at the final whistle as well, applauding the fans. Always great to see that from a player. Hammond 6 - Good tackling, kept the ball well but quite negative with his passing. Always passed back or to the side which is fine when you're 4-0 up, but not when you're pushing to kill the game off at 1-0. Cork 7 - Very energetic, closed down well and made some great tackles. Links up well with Lallana and Lambert to create some nice pass-and-move attacks. De Ridder 9 - Looked great on the wing, made some fantastic runs in behind the defence. Tore their LB a new one. Start him next week please Nige! Lallana 7 - Bit out of the game in the first half, but very intelligent play in the 2nd half and was his usual self. Unlucky not to score when he slammed one against the crossbar at 1-0. Lambert 8 - Very dangerous up front, took his penalties well. Could have had a few more goals as well. Was excellent at drawing the runs of defenders and creating space for Guly and De Ridder in behind. Guly 7 - Took his goal well, but I felt he was a bit of a passenger in the first half. The movement wasn't there, and you can't play static when you're up top with Lambert. Can't fault his build-up play though. Subs Chaplow 8 - Buzzed around and was brilliant. He's got a point to prove and a starting place to regain, and he's definitely putting his case forward for it! Schneiderlin 6 - Bit anonymous, looked good going forward though. Didn't get much time on the ball, he was obviously earmarked before the game by the Watford team. Holmes 7 - Only on the field for a short space of time, but scored an excellent goal and looked very good on the wing. Great option to have on the bench.

    Who?
  19. "What's the one thing you want to do this afternoon?" "....make love to my wife" Top bloke!
  20. En route to Oceana! No need to worry Jonny m'lad. Thankfully not - i'm working in the Harvester next door. Not exactly 'superior' like Dune suggests, but it's decent enough. Got paid 500 smackeroos for this month!
  21. It's the government bowing to years of pressure from Daily Mail readers to get bin collections sorted out. It's a bit of a bizarre move though tbh, I would like to know the thought process behind this.
  22. He definitely said ASBO, but that makes a lot more sense. Still a p!sstake though (no pun intended). They were already inside, I went to get some cash out and then this whole thing happened. My other friend was already outside looking for her ID, so we got a cab back to hers and I walked home from there. I'll go to Brixton with you as long as you promise not to spike my drink this time, roofies really make you feel like sh!t the next day...
  23. My housemate opened the fridge the other day to make some dinner, and he saw he had very little food. He turned to me and said "I've got no food... oh well, i'll just have peas and corn. You know, like when a Jamaican man runs out of rice." He was being deathly serious.
  24. I hang my head in shame - but that's the only place that people were going last night. All of my mates ended up there, I had to go home on my todd.
