Bit of background on Dale: He's between 5'7" and 5'9" (conflicting sources). Oldham signed him from Bury a few years back. He's scored 11 goals in 77 appearances for 4 teams, 10 of which have been this season.

Looked a lot better last night, hadn't been too impressed with him before now but he definitely caused them some problems when he came on yesterday. He was much more comfortable receiving the ball in the middle of the park though, so whether he'd be any good on the wing or not is up in the air at the moment. Just back from the game - it was an interesting one. First half we were crap, but so were Charlton. Worrying to see Lallana and Chamberlain go off, but as NorthamSteve pointed out to me, it looked as if Lallana may have come down with Dean Hammond's stomach bug and the post-match interview from Adkins mentioned Chambo going over on his ankle, so they shouldn't be out for too long. N'Guessan was totally dire in the first half, but second half he was much better (along with everyone else) and there is no way that his disallowed goal was offside. I was also impressed by Forte, he hasn't done much to impress me so far in a Saints shirt but he looked sharp and threatening up front today. If our passing had been more accurate for him then he may have had a few more chances than he did. D'urso did his usual sh!tty refereeing, Lambert and Barnard were being constantly fouled by the Charlton defence, and we should've had a penalty for hand ball off their No.5. Aside from all the negatives though, a point is a point and we can look forward to welcoming Charlton to SMS in the near future.

Just remembered that Charlton signed BWP in January, ought to be a laugh giving him some stick tonight!

Reading other L1 forums there's a lot of Saints mongs, so it's only fair we balance it out slightly by letting some WUMs from other teams post on here. It's good to get the perspective of fans of other teams in your division, especially good to hear if we thrash them!
