We can't afford any more slip-ups. Automatic promotion is the aim, but even if we go unbeaten until the end of the season, the other clubs around us can still hinder us. It's really important that we pick up maximum points from our games in hand, and to do well against our promotion rivals. Given recent form i'd be happy with a point against Bournemouth, but it's vital that we beat Yeovil on Tuesday and get good results against Charlton and Sheff Wed in the coming weeks. Hopefully our rivals can slip-up against teams like Colchester, Carlisle, Charlton and Hartlepool - strong teams occupying mid-table positions that have good records against the top 6. April is going to be a massive month for the teams chasing promotion, there are quite a few run-ins between the top 6 teams like Peterborough vs Bournemouth on the 1st and Huddersfield vs Peterborough on the 9th.

Is the game a sell-out? Was thinking of maybe going and sitting in the home end. Is that too dangerous given the deadly rivalry between our two clubs?

Great result, really wasn't confident at all going into this one because of Colchester's great home record. To come away with 3 points from there is a very respectable achievement, as many other teams in the top half of the table have really struggled there this season. I'd like to see Martin start against Yeovil in mid-week, he hasn't had much of a look-in this season and Jaidi needs a rest. If we can pick up 3 points against Yeovil then I would say we're in with a very good chance of coming 2nd this season.

Ken's post relates to a different occasion, a pigeon was killed outside our halls by a bigger bird which took it off the roof. Actually, it seems that there's a bit of a bird serial killer about, we have some ducks in a pond outside the cafeteria and one of them was found dead (and pretty f*cked up) a few days ago as well. On the other occasion, I definitely didn't see a heron. Having done a Google search, the colourings on the bird were quite similar to those of a Red Kite so that's what I guess it was. NOT
