And now Poite tears his calf muscle, that's karmic retribution right there!
-
Barclay binned for no f*cking reason, supposedly preventing a try-scoring opportunity when Jacobsen already had the guy by the waist and was bringing him down. England convert the penalty, 12-9.
-
But then Scotland would never win any games! Kelly Brown knocked unconscious about 10 minutes ago, Mike Tindall off with an injury to his left ankle. Parks and Blair on for Lawson and Jackson...seems we're really going for it now!
-
I'm not sure, the environmental factors are minimal aside from the construction of the station etc. and the disposal of the waste (which is being dealt with ok at the moment by burying it in safe cases).
-
Scotland equalise on the stroke of half time, 9-9 at the break.

Despite being a lefty, I firmly believe that Nuclear is the way forward, at least until we have a reliable and effective way of producing energy cleanly. All those shouting for offshore wind turbines are being too idealistic - they barely generate any energy, are very expensive to build and maintain and block UK marine space. They use the Scandinavian countries as examples of how it could work, but in truth the likes of Denmark and Sweden have sunk lots of money into programmes that, admittedly, cater for a lot of their energy requirements, but have populations a fraction of the size of the UK's. France is a shining example of how we should be producing our energy over the next 50 years.

Great to see Chris Paterson starting too!
-
Have a feeling Scotland will grab a sneaky win today - we've played decently so far but never really gotten into top gear. I think the occasion will spurr our lads on to a win! Having said that now, we'll probably get turned over.

Would prefer a nuclear power station, it's got to be more efficient than biomass surely? That's what we should be looking for, efficiency.

If Andy Carroll is worth £35m, then Chambo's value should be around £2-3m and his sale value would be £10m+. He has the potential to be a great Prem winger.

I don't like The Echo, but always buy The Pink on a Sunday morning.

I like Pearce, Pugh and Bartley, but could only see the latter getting into our team. Bartley alongside Schneiderlin in the centre of midfield would be good.

1) Brighton 2) Saints ----------------- 3) Peterborough 4) Huddersfield 5) Bournemouth 6) MK Dons We're not playing particularly well at the moment, but we're getting the results and that is what counts. Peterborough definitely have built up a head of steam, but they have lots of away games coming up and they still have quite a leaky defence (although it has shored up recently). Huddersfield will struggle to cope with the loss of Pilkington imo, he's a key player for them. They also have a few games against other teams in the top half of the table coming up. Bournemouth have done excellently this season but I can't help but feel that they've peaked. 2 defeats in a row will make it difficult for them, and their next 3 games are against Carlisle (A), Charlton (H) and Peterborough (A), all of them tricky opposition. I still think they'll finish comfortably in the play-offs, but I think they can forget about automatic promotion now. MK Dons have been a surprise package this season, but this is probably down to the management of Robinson and Hamann. Their squad doesn't really have much strength in depth so if they were to pick up an injury in the next few weeks they could slide down the table. Having said that, the only team near them is Leyton Orient, and they're 8pts behind and not exactly in great form either. I reckon they'll sneak in, but it'll be close, the gap between 6th and 7th will definitely narrow over the coming weeks.

Wouldn't mind that! Craig Eastmond from Arsenal?
-
Yeah, Crab Lungs posted that yesterday on here.
-
Scratch that - it's happening in the 11.3 games as well. FML.
-
Oddly it's not happening on any 11.3 games, but on other saves that I started on 11, 11.1 and 11.2 databases...hmm. Annoying as I was taking the Premiership by storm with Saints! Never mind, i'll see if I can find a fix for that but in the meantime i've downloaded the Level 10 database for FM11 and have started a game with my local team, Hartley Wintney, who play in the English Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Divison One... or ECRRCCLD for short!
-
We've scored lots from set-pieces recently. While our link-up play has been a lot better since Lallana has been back from injury, we've not really scored that many from open-play. Whether that's regarded as 'playing poorly', i'm not sure, but it's affected how people have viewed our performances imo.
-
Darren Carter? Had him on trial in pre-season...

Bournemouth 1 - 3 Saints - Post Match Reaction

Brilliant result, looking in a great position to get into the automatic spots now. We just need to win our games in hand, and a few more performances like our second-half today should see us pretty comfortably in! Also, don't usually complain but the server was pretty crap today. Should imagine there was more traffic than usual due to the nature of the game though. -
Rickie scores!!!!! 3-1!
-
Gobern on for Barnard, Saints switching to 4-5-1.
-
Dean Hammond scores from a corner AGAIN! GET IN! 2-1 Saints
-
Seaborne for Harding, apparently Harding has a knock.
