Cherries fans incensed that a penalty hasn't been given...f*cking hell. Saints fans in great voice though!

Sub Jaidi please Nigel, we can't afford to go a man down! Put Martin on...

That Mikey in Bassett sounds like a knowledgeable chap

Yes, I do... is that causing the problem or a solution?

Since updating to 11.3 i've started getting crash dumps on my old save game files...

Haha, "an AFC Bournemouth side who we've already beaten twice this season". ZING! Cracking video too.

88,000? Jesus christ. I feel sick.

+1 Good prospect but Tuesday wasn't his best game. Still prefer him to Seaborne though...

Sent Neil Meldrum (the journo) an email, interesting point made in his reply: I didn't know the the Echo were banned from press conferences. Did that one just pass me by or is this news?

I think it's quite funny that Bournemouth are trying to establish us as rivals - Saints only have one true rival, and we all know which team that is. And Turkish, while the article is not inaccurate, it's hardly accurate either. Talking about the Pardew sacking; "Clearly a 4-0 away win was simply unacceptable for such a giant of the third tier" when we all know that there were things going on off the pitch which contributed to his dismissal, plus a poor start to the season before that game. " “When you speak to all the opposition managers or you read their reports after the game, you will find that it is the best their team has played all season when they play Southampton,” rambled Adkins ahead of Saints’ 1-0 defeat to Walsall on March 1" ", which is true, almost every post-match interview I hear when a team beats Saints mentions being pleased at beating on of the best in the division and how well the players played. The whole thing reeks of bitterness.

Just goes to show how powerful nature really is and how precarious our state on the earth is. If that quake had hit in a city rather than in the NE of the country, things could have been pretty horrific.

Obviously, but it's easier to put a number on it rather than just say -8 or -9!

Oxo's potential has increased a lot - Genie tells me that on an 11.3 game it's 174 whereas on 11.2 it was around 148.

If we win on Saturday: Good for Saints, Bad for Bournemouth
SuperMikey replied to jawillwill's topic in The Saints
I'd really like to see Bournemouth go up this year - next year they'll be pretty f*cked in this league as it looks like there are some big teams coming down (Preston almost certain, Sheff Utd, Crystal Palace and M'boro looking perilous as well as Scunny) and they've not got any money to strengthen their side, so all their best players will be cherry picked (no pun intended) by bigger teams. However, I will certainly not be cheering for them on Saturday afternoon, as this is an absolutely crucial game for us. -
Yeah, I know... Quite a few of my smoker mates started the same way, but we all have our vices. Smoking has just become more of a taboo in the last 50 years due to the health issues related to it.

If Cortese went in the stands in his usual clobber then he'd be spotted straight away. Good bit of espionage from Nicola there

Mine too. I only smoke when I have a drink though, so not got the phlegm problems that you do.. Good luck on Snowdon though Dune, are you climbing for charity or just fun?

That's a horrible injury, not only did he break his leg but also dislocated his ankle. Owch. Hope he recovers soon, it'd be a shame to see such a promising career suffer. I believe that's Hudders pretty much screwed for automatic promotion now, unless they bring in somebody quality on an emergency loan (and quickly). Horrible thing to have happen to the guy but you can't say it isn't going to help our cause slightly.

It's sod's law that work dies down as soon as the weather starts getting nicer.

Hit and miss performance, at times we were unplayable but for a large (and frustrating) period of the game we couldn't get the ball out of our own half. Good evidence of lots of work on the training ground for set-pieces though, Barney's first was perfectly executed, which is something that we've lacked in our game before. Chaplow's booking was disgraceful, it was a great challenge but the Yeovil player made a real meal of it and ended up getting Chappers booked. Still, 3 very useful points and we're definitely picking up momentum. Bournemouth hit a stumbling block last night, so if we can take advantage of their slip-up and beat them on Saturday, we'll be well on our way to sealing automatic!
